My wish now, to maybe package together Vooch and Coby for few expirings and 1st rounder, but I cant see any team for that, unless 3rd team involved..

just Vooch to GSW still possible (Looney, GP2, etc..) or Vooch for Capela swap (Capela expiring)..Memphis could use another vet center for playoff run, Edey cant be the one yet! Phoenix - Nurkic swap open

Julius Randle and Pistons first for Vuc and White. Randle either opts out and there is your expiring. Or he opts in, and now you have a 30 million dollar expiring contract to use to get picks next year.

P.S, money works.

I don't hate it (I like the idea of getting another FRP), however I don't see why the Wolves do it.

Vuc isn't KAT, I don't think he'd work with Gobert and they already have plenty of guards.
Here to argue about nonsensical things and suck away your joy. :kissmybutt:

Lakers traded Knecht for the Hornets, the trading window for Vuc is closing,The Bulls could have traded him getting good players.

Vuc's trading chances are slimming.

I don't think AK values draft picks all that much, which is crazy. I'm not sure if they could've got a pick from Sacramento, but I agree with your point and think they should've tried (maybe they did?). The DDR sign and trade they could've taken the pick swap, but decided not to (they would've had to take Barnes too).

The Caruso trade many people thought they should've gotten a pick in that deal too.

You're right, and this is all predicated with the assumption that they tried since we don't know the inner workings of negotiations and can only extrapolate from previous history. It's CRAZY that he doesnt value picks when the league has shown us, you can pretty much get what you want if you have picks and some nice players. Especially after building the team the way he did giving up multiple picks and flaming out. Then hitting the reset button too late which left us in a position to be too good to have real important lottery chances, but too bad to be firmly in the playoffs and not worry about the play-in. He could have taken Barnes and the pick swap from the DDR deal and worked to get out of the lux tax it would have put them in, but that requires creativity and a little bit of aggressiveness.

Also, sidenote: We heard reports last year that AKME were given the greenlight to start a rebuild and they chose not to. Now they decided to do it late and sit on their hands trying to gain assets...this is absolutely a fireable offense, right? Or am I tweakin here???

Easily would have done that deal for Vuc. I assume they didn't offer it as they were prioritizing D

That trade couldn’t happen because if salaries.

I said this days ago and it’s disappointing and depressing as a bulls fan knowing it was 2-3 teams interested in vuc and they failed to trade him

A little too late for the rebuild just like Paxson was.

With the interest though it is like is the old neighborhood kid and he will get the prom date if all the other ten options fall through. He is just a safety net in case nothing else was available. AKME’s fault for getting him in the first place for sure but not sure there is much desire. Plus everyone is apron so salaries have to match.

Current time is 727 CST (we'll just say 730) so 6 and a 1/2? Deadline is 2pm CST right? Or is it 3?

Portland winning and us losing puts us at 8 tentatively.

With Raptors getting Ingram they might move past us. 76ers likely to.
