I have a feeling I'm going to live to regret this, because I honestly can't really convince myself that LeBron is coming to Chicago, but ..

This part is still there guys, not sure. All we can do is wait.

Agree completely. I view every rumor/report with skepticism, mostly because, at best, they're all second or third hand back-channel stuff.

No doubt each of the FAs have thoughts about the teams involved. It would be surprising to learn if any of them are approaching July 1 in terms of a purely level playing field. Still, I'm confident that they haven't talked directly with their prospective new owners and GMs. I've seen plenty of deals queered at the 11th hour.

So for now, I'm with Fish and Yogi Berra...it isn't over 'til it's over.

I think the bigger question is what are we all going to do as individuals to celebrate? I was thinking of buying a huge chocolate cake before broadcasting myself live on UStream sitting there in a custom made LeBron James Knicks jersey eating the entire thing Bruce Bogtrotter style, until I pass out to the tune of Sinatra's 'New York, New York'.

BS report on the right hand side....2 parts....Very interesting listen....Simmons has been saying since jan that bosh, lebron to Chicago....Even thinks now that joe johnson might come along as well.....IIRC the beginning to mid part 1 one is when they talk about lebron.....They talk about him again at the end of part 2 where they make predictions and the lebron, Jordan, Gibson Steak House story is.....

Doug you are right but your post sure made a lot of people's hopes really high now.

There are some posters who were kind of down after hearing SAS's comments everywhere but your post gave them some life now.

I really hope your source is right and hopefully it ends on July 3rd.
