Russia's ball pressure isn't even that aggressive and we are still folding like chumps.

Doesn't help we are playing with 3 power forwards st a time either. Clark can't guard sf's.

And in a matter of minutes, the section to my left was taken over by Lithuanian's and the section to my right by Argentinians. Crazy.

And you're stuck in the middle. Great, when the fighting begins, convince them of having a bake-off instead, with you as judge. Both countries make wonderful pastries.

Is this the end of GB's run? Can Deng please have his surgery now?

Obviously as a fan you have a right to be impatient. I definitely get that.

But let it be known that Luol is doing this for the love of the game. May you never again blame athletes for taking a business-only approach if you have a problem with this mindset he has right now.

We need more athletes who would make a choice like this, not less.

Embarrassed to be a Brit right now. Stewards making the fans sit down, well trying too.

Easy there. I was just asking a question. I wasn't sure if GB's run is over or it is more of a group thing where the top 2 or more teams qualify for the quarter finals.

Anyhow, the point about Lu has been debated and he has made his choice. As a Bulls fan, if he wasn't having the surgery before...I was hoping he would have it ASAP if GB is done.

For the people who was watching the GB game earlier how did Deng look? Did he attack, and cut the basket aggressively, or was he just settle to many jumpers? Also was he holding his wrist at times like he did most of last season, and post-season included?

Nice piece on Deng up on yahoo. Nothing that hasn't been written before, but I enjoyed it regardless.

IMO the Lithuanians view basketball as a religion.. they are the best fans I've ever seen. I saw them win the Eurobasket in 2003, it was amazing and great fun. We were there to watch the german team, but they didn't get into the final rounds, so since we had already booked our Stockholm vacation, we decided to go root for Lithuania and we had so much fun all week. Good times.

Oh my god, Mark, so bangable. Was actually caught a couple of times by a Lithuanian who was in near tears cos his team was losing, checking out his bangable lady.

Seriously though, it was embarrassing seeing the stewards really pestering and insisting that the Lithuanian's to sit down. Most of them still stood for the whole game anyway but it was frustrating to see other people in the crowd sitting there arms folded also complaining. One guy even stormed out over it.

Me, I'd like the entire arena tI be standing with that kind of atmosphere.

Probably the best crowd I've been in for a game. Sat in an aisle seat bordering the Lith's and Argentinian's. MSG was rowdy during Linsanity, but this was still better despite it being at a neutral venue for both fans.
