He was dumb enough to associate with her to begin with, wasn't he? I doubt the entire thing is 100% fabrication. Something happened that night. It's just another red flag around this guy, along with the previous ones.

That would have been a decisive response, but the lawyer never says that. She admits Rose had a sexual relationship with the woman and denies nothing specific (i.e. being with her that night and/or having group sex with his friends).

If Rose did brign his friends to have sex with her that night, good luck to him claiming consent.

Although I will say, if these allegations are proven false, there needs to be a civil suit in the opposite direction. It's hard to get the term 'rapist' away from your name, even if you are cleared of any wrongdoing.

If it's true, there should be considerable amount of evidence to support her claims. If it's not true, this should be disposed of pretty quickly.

I don't think either of those statements are accurate. First it allegedly happened 2 years ago. What "considerable amount of evidence" would be around even if it were true? The physical evidence would all be gone. No toxicology screen on the alleged drugging, no rape kit, no semen. Possibly no witnesses. Rape cases frequently amount to nothing more than he said she said, even when its reported promptly. And here due to passage of time, there will be even less evidence even if it did happen.

Second, its a civil suit. If she says he raped her, and he says he didn't, that right there is enough to make it last years and go all the way to a jury verdict. Her verbal allegation is sufficient for this to last a long, long time if she wants it to.

This is why there needs to be SEVERE punishment for false accusations. Which is such a difficult and slippery slope because women who are actually raped don't need any more discouragement from coming forward . OTOH, it shouldn't be so easy to blacken somebody's name with a frivolous money grab. I guess it's the price of fame. Damn shame.

Cosby assaulted women on the regular over a 30-40yr span. For him it was as casual as playing golf on a Sunday afternoon. I also wouldn't be surprised if the victim count was even higher, and there are women who aren't coming forward because they would rather not be thrust into a spotlight.

Character aside, The Bulls would have LOVED to move on from him based solely on his performance/salary.

Nobody wants him. He's not moveable. I think he's only got 2 more years left.

As far as rape and false accusations of rape, both acts ruin lives and should be punishable with long prison terms.

I usually don't talk about this kind of stuff bc I don't want to sound like a dbag or a liar, but I will make an exception for this story.

I personally know Derrick and Randall (his friend accused of joining in on this) and in my mind there is absolutely no way this is true. Not even a slight chance.

I have hungout with Derrick and Randall while there was a girl sleeping in the other room and never once was anything like this ever discussed.

I've been at a party at derricks house, Randall was there as well....there were literally over 100 females there and less than 20 guys. Girls are throwing themselves at them...and me and they didn't even know who the hell I was. There is just no way this is true.

I also know 4-5 other very close friends of derricks....notably Tim flowers and a few lesser know guys in his crew. At no point ever, not once has anyone ever talked about "gangbangs" "trains" or anything of the sort.

This kind of story makes me sick. Some girl trying to get paid.
