Almost feels like tonight is a huge playoff game for the Bulls.

Tonight is proof MJ is still carrying this franchise 20+ years later and why this city cares about the team still and why the NBA is a global phenomenon.

and I'm fine with that because this run was as good as it gets in any pro sports.

can't wait to see the ratings

Let's Dance!!

I hope this thread hits 50 pages like a GDT.

I suppose with streaming, many of us will not be synched up, though.

Anyway, I love how much national scrutiny this FO has gotten since the all-star game. This documentary isn't going to paint them in a great way. At best, it will chuck just Krause under the bus and protect Reinsdorf, but we'll see.

Or who knows? This is gonna be an inside look at Jordan's intensity.

Here's an article about that:

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/29044827/an-all-access-michael-jordan-documentary-how-last-dance-was-made-possible

The short news is Jordan wouldn't agree to make it until now. He was typically pitched hour long documentaries, and this was the first time someone said they were going to make into a long form show.

Hope this returns some good marketing for the franchise and that folks can separate Krause from the Bulls. Could jolt some of the brand tbh and good timing as well

From the previews, this documentary looks like it mainly wants to paint Krause as the bad guy in the end that deserves no credit. However, all sides in this matter had their own egos and deserve credit for the successes. To me, Phil Jackson wasn't honest in letting the team know he wanted a break from basketball at that time no matter if Krause wanted him back or not.

Freshening up the FO right before this was a very smart move. The Bulls are about to be the forefront of the NBA/Sports for a minute, having a healthy org in place to maintain that momentum is way better than having Gar still around.

You could be on to something there. Our 3 kids were born in the '80s. She spent the '90s as a stay-at-home mom. The kids started leaving the nest in the '00s.

were any of your kids big bulls fans?

My first 2 kids were girl children and not into sports. My son is the youngest and loved sports. He was 9-11 during the second 3-peat. We watched games together and I remember telling him to watch #23 because he's the greatest player in the history of team sports. He's since told me that he clearly remembers me telling him that.

This younger crowd all they know is LeBron, will get a glimpse of what the real GOAT looks like.

As of now everything I’ve seen says there’s no planned date for it to air on Netflix US

I'm watching on Netflix and it shows it will premiere today here in Australia as well. Issue is if is 8pm CST, that's like 11am here lol. I'll be avoiding this thread if it is released 8pm HERE. You guys in the US will have the head start on us.

I have a feeling the younger generation will think Jordan is a bully and will want him to apologize for his behaviour.
