1. Derozan is the primary guy.
2. Vuc is the second scorer because if his shots are falling he's going to get a lot of open looks inside and outside. So naturally he's supposed to be the no. 2 leading scorer.
3. Zach as Silent Assassin scorer, 27 points super efficient, relatively quiet 27 points IMO. Ninja Lavine!

I believe they should always feed Vuc first....get him going and the game becomes a lot easier

Agreed, getting his offense going energizes his defense. Zach can score whenever he wants, DDR is dam near automatic, so I'm pretty impressed seeing Zach pick his spots and let his partners shine. Now Caruso, we don't win this game without him, All NBA Defensive 1st team

I was disappointed in all of his misses. Seriouly, I don't expect him to ever miss a mid ranger.

After the game on NBA TV, Greg Anthony said via post game wrap up that the Bulls can come out of the east if Vucevic continues to play he has the last two. Says Zach & DeMar are already dynamic enough.

That's what I'm sayin, these are the games that prepare you for those post season minutes. They're learning how to close out these games that get players tight. I wish they'd learn to come with energy in the 3rd though, too much bench+DDR minutes

I’ve been on the court with a few D1 players and a couple NBA player (well one soon to be in Finley) and and I had no right to be playing with any of them. I have learned playing those games even if 11 by 1 and 2’s rarely if ever does anyone go 11-0. Streaks happen but the best close out the games when it gets tight. Bulls did that tonight and that means something. They were up big and let the Knicks get close and gave up minor leads.. but they never were “losing” even in a hostile environment. Good teams win more often than not. Top 300 players in the world of course in the nba it will never be easy but you have to win in the end and they did and have more often than not the whole season. I call that fun. That’s just me though.

This. Just a really good win. +20 at halftime really doesn't mean anything. Especially against a Thibs team. Watching the guy coach our least talented Bulls squads to winning records, shouldn't be a surprise he had the Knicks make this a game in the 3rd.

Caruso is brilliant.

As is Demar.

i agree that we’re a real threat if vucevic averages 28.5 ppg while shooting 73% on threes

It’s not wack and I’m probably much more realer than you because of it.
For example you all triggered about the knicks , if I liked the Magic you would probably mind your own business . That’s just pettiness .it’s your own opinion , not sure where this insecurity comes from the Knicks were hardly a threat even in the 90s and even if they were , the bulls got the long straw. No need for the grudge.

Are we willing to send PWill for that? PWill/CWhite/TBrown for Grant or Barnes?

I don't think we will need to. Buy out or AK magic will do.

I interpreted it as Zach is learning how to close games in a high pressure situation. He’s been in too many games that are meaningless (because team is tanking) where he’d make crucial mistakes at inopportune times that ended up costing the game.

He has at least a full season to learn from a star (or two) and be a part of the experience. You hope he’d pick up a thing or two by the time we sign him to that max contract to be a winning player.

He already is winning player. Is DeMar winning those games on his own? They are both averaging over 25 ppg on high efficiency. DeRozan is 5 years older and has a ton of playoff experience while Zach has none. I think we should happy that Zach recognizes that DeMar is the man in the clutch right now and has no problem deferring to him. It’s not like Zach is choking and DeRozan is bailing us out. Aren’t they both at the top of points in the 4th? He wants win and doesn’t care about who is considered the best player. They are both Bulls.

Perhaps, but he can still improve his shot and in LA he was undervalued (based on what he talked about with his contract negotiations).

I'm tired of this idea that we blow leads we shouldn't and totally discounting the opposition's part in making a run, especially against a playoff tier team like The Knicks at home.

We aren't the Globetrotters letting the Generals storm back and take a lead!!

Exactly. Nets are the best team in the East and they led by over 18points in the 2nd half too but Knicks came back on the road and made it a game and had a chance to win the game at the end.

I just don't understand why all of a sudden Bulls fans are becoming cocky??? We are not a perennial playoff team and we haven't had any success for last 5 years - even Butler led team were just 50% and 1st round exit team.

Stay humble. A win is a win.

I'm of the opinion that you add the most talent you possibly can. You can never have too many good offensive players. Never know what can happen with injuries. Also, having Barnes/Grant as a 4th option is ridiculous. That gives your team such a dynamic offense.

Hey. You guys played a great game. I like the way they play. You move the ball really well and play excellent defense. You just need some more rebounding which I assume Patrick Williams will be giving you when he’s healthy.

DeRozan and Lavine make an excellent duo and Caruso is my man. I remember watching that nerdy gawky-looking paisano from his first summer league/preseason games with the Lakers and saw right away that he had a strong BBIQ. He just plays the right way. The Lakers were stupid not to resign him.

In conclusion, I think you guys are ahead of us in that you have better chemistry right now.

For this old Knicks’ fan, it’s great to see the potential for a renewed Knicks-Bulls rivalry.
