You could tell in SL he was ready for 10-15 minutes a night and can make an impact with his energy, especially defensive. I'm excited for him. He doesn't look out of place tonight either. Needs a few years of weight training, but he's got something now to contribute.

One thing about Matas: he has instincts and knows how to use his body. Pat has zero of that. Players that have good instincts and athleticism are priceless.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

It's only preseason but this should put to bed the idea that Buzelis can't play bench rotation minutes at the very least/

Just start building the team around Matas.

I'll be the first to say it. At what point do you trade Pat so that Matas has nothing in the way to hold him back?

Sure, Pat can come off the bench but I'm tired of watching a player who just doesn't have any fire in him.

I was hoping to see some clear improvement from Terry, mainly a more confident stroke. It doesn't look like he has that, but he has been somewhat productive in his minutes: 4 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals in 17 mins. Draymond would be proud.

Bulls should have went after JT Thor. Would have been a great 3rd big.

He's pretty much the guard version of Draymond but even Green developed a decent enough 3 point shot. Without a competent stroke, he has no future in the league.

Box score shows that Bitim didn't score. Didn't he have a fast break layup where he fake passed it?

He can jump. We only want small ball ground bound centers.

Jalen Smith?

Really about 69. Thor is a legit 70 footer.

Thor is 69 my mistake

Embarrassing possession by Porter Jr. Run down the shot clock only to airball a heavily contested three.

Nobody is taking Pat’s contract. The Bulls 4 highest paid players this season all have exactly zero trade value.

Let that sink in folks. This is a bottom 3 team in the East.

We need the 1/100 time that Matas pans out into a superstar to happen. Come on, it's our turn.
