There is a clear top 5 (possibly 6 with KJ) that I like. You can throw a blanket over 7-15 though.

I don't think picking at 12 compared to say 8 or 9 is a big deal given the clear and obvious improvements to young core pieces in Coby, Giddey & Matas.

Not "needing" a draft pick doesn't mean 7th and 15th are the same talent level.

This is the kind of win that will strike fear in the Eastern Conference.

It’s crazy how much respect Giddey and White get from refs now. Their efficiency is gonna stay high if they keep shooting 6 plus free throws every night.

Not getting ahead of myself - but we are probably going to win the NBA championship this season.

I'm good with paying Giddey AND Coby. Maybe not a max for either ... but 30-35 per for each. It's a risk and we still got a couple weeks to get some more info.

But dang, they just work so well together. I don't think I'd say either of them have the innate talent of DeMar and LaVine ... but they fit together in all the ways those two didn't.

Coby DOES NOT need to bring the ball, or start the offense. He's totally happy running on the fast break, or getting the ball in the flow off offense and finding his that way. Meanwhile, he looks happy to cede the real Point Guard to Giddey; and let Giddey slow it down when it needs to be. Giddey has blown me away with his ability to lead Billy's offense in the half-court.

He doesn't help us win and he isn't part of our future. We're better of benching him entirely and dumping him in the offseason.

He's undoubtedly our 3rd best C.

I don’t want any player that doesn’t project as a good defensive player. And there are a lot of those on this list.

Loving the Giddey / White combo. But this team will need to be layered with defensive players if we’re going to commit 60+ million in the backcourt.

Fortunately, Buzelis can play defense. But the other positions need to be able to defend to make this work

We kind of just run teams to death now. They get exhausted and can’t keep up. It’s also why Vuc is a terrible fit for this scheme. It’s working. Modern D’Antoni ball after having a team with Demar. Complete 180°.

We can’t pay Coby this offseason. We have to wait until Summer 2026. I read the max we can extend him for now is $18 million per. Obviously he won’t accept that.

When Coby wins EC Player of the Month I expect even more respect from the refs.

If you adjusted this more for what most have projected it would look more like.

1 F-Cooper Flagg-Duke

2 G-Dylan Harper-Rutgers

3 W-Ace Bailey-Rutgers
4 G-VJ Edgecombe-Baylor

5 G-Jeremiah Fears-Oklahoma
6 G-Tre Johnson-Texas

13 G-Egor Demin-BYU

14 F-Collin Murray-Boyles-S Carolina
15 F-Noa Essengue-Germany
16 W-Rasheer Fleming-St Joseph's

That 7/8-16 is a wash IMO. Queen probably just moved up but everyone else is going to be dependent on the specific shopper

Wait do they have a winning record on the west coast trip? Wow

Also, if this is the new Coby, and I think it is, he's a max player.

Vuc just doesn’t not belong here anymore. Getting him off of the roster should be priority #1 this offseason. Every minute he plays is a waste. Even when he plays well I rather see the other two.

The legit problem is that virtually any team that would "want" him would likely want to give us two lesser contracts for him, and we're tight for roster spots. Bulls should just look for the worst larger deals that also expire after next year and try to package Carter or maybe Huerter with Vuc for one of them.

Orlando's remaining schedule isn't too difficult.

Bulls still have remaining games against OKC and CLE...not sure if they can catch Orlando at this point (unless you think they will win every game...but with the way Coby and Giddey are playing....who knows)

Dalen Terry hitting 4-4 from 3 was NOT on my bingo card. Let's hope he can keep it going.
