The Wiz aren't better than us, but they sure are better at beating good teams. They have beaten -

Brooklyn
Phoenix
Brooklyn
Miami
Boston
Denver
Portland
Lakers
Denver
Clippers
Utah

Actually, now that I look at their record, they are the dead opposite of us. They routinely take down good teams, and pretty much always lose to bad teams.

Our schedule after the trade deadline becomes brutal. I would not be surprised if we end up within 2-3 games from them. If that indeed happens and we stood pat with this roster, AK will have had a bad first year on the job.
I hope I'm wrong, though.
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

I really don't understand that. Is it because Russ/Beal wake up to these big games but play down to the competition when they play a bad team?

I wish we have that problem because it'd really come in handy during this second half of the schedule, and there are more > .500 teams in the league.

Unbelievable how much time the Wolves organization wasted with Ryan Saunders. Finch has been really good, but it's obviously too late to turn it around now. Happy for Antman and KAT though.

Minnesota needs Edwards to become the face of that franchise. He's got to help elevate them.

It looks like that's starting to happen. The highlights from last night are something to see - he opens up the court for KAT (to include passing), and his combination of range, strength and explosion for a wing is really hard to deal with.

I'm glad that he's flashing because I was on record as a pre-draft booster - so there's some validation there. Was also on the record noting that Ball had potentially the highest spread between ceiling and floor - and potentially the highest ceiling - but that for the Bulls I'd take Edwards due to (clearly massively overblown) concerns about Ball's shot and Edwards' size letting him play the 3. Was right on the general point... wrong on which one of the two to pick....

Not sure what he's like in practice, but Ant Man's interviews have been giving me the biggest laughs. He's very green, naive but jolly - also confident. Seems like a nice kid - reminds me of Metta World Peace. I hope he pans out all the way. He has all the raw talent in the world, and a potentially huge personality (in a good way).

This x1000.

Edwards is just full of joy. Ricky Rubio said that he‘s had a rough time in the beginning of the season, but Edwards helped him through it with his jokes and positive attitude every day.

Also love how Edwards acknowledged that he still has a lot of things to work on after his career night yesterday and added: "Ricky’s gon teach me." How wholesome is that?

Will be interesting to see if Boston does something at the deadline to fix this season or if they decide it's not worth it and use the Hayward-TPE (funny how much they could use Hayward right now) in the offseason. Their season has been a mess so far.

KAT for all his talent is best as a 2nd fiddle. He should be as good as Anthony Davis on defense and a game changing player but all he cares about are stats. The only way to fix the Wolves culture is by someone surpassing him and being edgy. I think that will be Edwards.

Kat needs to give a half a damn about things that don't show up in the stat sheet. He's just a taller Kevin Love. Bunch of empty stats on a losing them.

Sorry, Kat is just so irritating. That team will never be any good. He's gonna have to go somewhere like Miami to whip his ass into shape and teach him basketball.

Man Atlanta has all the breaks. Lebron an iron man gets hurt and they go on to win their 8th striaght. They were like 10th at allstar break. Now are sitting at 4th.

Sad thing is bulls have had similar breaks but have yet to take advantage of it. They just can't get over their losing wall

Russell is going to have to be 3rd fiddle and Beasley will have to take way less shots and play more D.

They will get another top 5 pick to add to their talent pool but really need a bunch of vets around KAT and Edwards.

Do they? They absurdly had 100% of their prized FA/rookie fleet injured for the first month or two. Glad things are rolling their way now. They deserve a top-4 seed with that roster.

Should have tanked properly instead of chasing playoff cash with nothing to show for it and a ton more seasons of no playoff cash bc you’re too short sighted. Bravo to the Hawks.

Bravo to the Hawks for tanking? They had no master plan for losing, and traded away Luka when they got the chance. The reason they are currently better than us is because 1) they drafted Collins with a non-lottery pick, and 2) they traded for Capela. Neither of those players arrived because Atlanta refused to chase the playoffs, or because the Bulls allegedly did.

Pels just finished off the Nugs in a game that was close at the end like our last game with the Nugs. The difference was that Jokic and Murray missed their 3’s at the end and the Pels had no turnovers and made their free throws. Ugh.
