I can't see a fit, but given the Cavs LeBron/cap situation, I remain curious about the Bulls reported love of Sexton...

Would not be opposed to a back court of Sexton/Dunn. Not sure how we get that done though

Spurs are not interested in Ball so if something goes down its Ingram/Kuzma/etc. for Kawhi. Lakers can still wait another year and sign Kawhi in FA in summer of 2019, that is if a deal cant be made.

Unless the Lakers want to give up the farm, the Spurs should flip the bird at them, and Lebron.
- Ingram, Kuzma, Mo Wagner, unprotected 1sts, and whatever asset can be had from a 3-team deal where Ball goes elsewhere, and the Spurs get a piece they actually want back.

Sure, maybe the Lakers say that's too much. Where would 'Bron be?
- Another year on aging pretender Cleveland
- An entire year getting whupped out West by himself carrying young Lakers pups
- A poor fit with Philly

Let Kawhi pout for a half-season while he makes his millions, and then trade him at the deadline to say...the Golden State Warriors which vexes LA, Lebron, and would Kawhi really say no to that chance to win a title in a rental situation?

Yes, that's not the best return SA could get...but it sure would be entertaining to watch them make everyone else squirm in frustration!

I firmly believe that Kawhi and Lebron will be lakers this coming season. We just have to work into the three way deal with Lakers n Spurs.

I know the Lakers extended a QO to Randle. I think there may be someone willing to pay-up for him. I wonder if including Portis in an Ingram/Deng deal would give them a stretch 4 on a rookie deal to make their math easier for a Lebron deal. Ingram is a nice player, but he's a poor fit alongside LBJ/PG/KL.

Don’t you think Ingram will be part of the deal going to San Antonio?

Maybe. They could make that deal work with Ball and Kuzma, IMO.

The Spurs and i doubt any team takes Lonzo, but especially the Spurs. They are not going to roll over for the Lakers. Also, if Kuzma stays with Lonzo, at some point do i wonder if the bromance blows up. Lonzos dad has to much of lonzos ear. The only way i see Lonzo having any trade appeal is if lonzo at some point just gets sick of his dad and blows up. The Lakers were stupid for taking Lonzo over so many players. He may be better than some taken after him but will he ever be good enough for dealing with his dad? Or will his dad eventually get Lonzo booted from the league even if he is a solid player.

Because Bulls fans somehow think they will get the better end of in this situation, even though there aren't rumors that they're even going to be involved.

It's time for Bulls to insert themselves into Lakers/Spurs talks. I am sure Spurs would like to have Ingram, but one reason Lakers could instead ship him with Deng to Bulls is because it could give them a chance to get LeBron, Kawhi AND George:

To Bulls: Ingram, Deng, D. Green (cap relief for Spurs)
To Spurs: Hart, Valentine, Kuzma, Wagner, Hutchinson, future LAL 1st
To Lakers: Kawhi (who will have to waive his trade kicker)

Holiday would also have to be traded somewhere with a TPE, like Toronto, or Portland, or Detroit

If we end-up signing Zach. I'd push to see if we could package Valentine/Portis to a team with 3pt needs for a future first.

should we take on Deng's contract? exchange for pick(s)?
say we decide to help a team to help ourselves.
i'm thinking a 4 team trade

bulls out / Lopez - Payne
bulls in / Deng + Ennis + Lakers's 2019 1st rd pick

Lakers out / Deng - Ennis - Ingram - 2019 1st rd pick
Lakers in / Kawhi + Payne

Memphis out / Parsons & 2019 1st rd pick
Memphis in / Pau Gasol

Spurs out / Kawhi - Gasol
Spurs in / Parsons + Lopez + Ingram + Memphis 2010 1st rd pick

I would take Deng/Ingram, and pay a high price for it.

Lakers send Ingram, Deng to Bulls
Lakers send Kuzma, 2019 and 2021 unprotected picks to SA
Lakers get Leonard

SA sends Leonard to Lakers
SA gets Kuzma, Valentine, Portis, 2 Laker picks and Bulls 2019 top 5 protected pick

Bulls get Ingram and Deng for our 2019 pick, Valentine and Portis

Still, with this I don't see us getting in-SA would insist on Ingram. BUT, if it worked, we are set for YEARS

No. I'm trading our 2019 pick for Ingram. LA isn't sending out Ingram, Kuzma and 2 picks to get Leonard. SA has conceded that they are trading him. Since he's so focused on LA, nobody else will pay much.

Ball and a 1st get's the Kawhi deal done.

Not sure how much it will cost to rid themselves of Deng's contract.

Kawhi needs to go to Philly. It makes too much sense. Fultz and Covington for Kawhi.
Philly rolls out Simmons, Reddick (re-signed), Leonard, Saric, and Embiid.

Philly will become the team to beat in the Eeast and will be the biggest competition to the Warriors. I'd love to see that series.

Sexton is going no where. Gilbert wants to build his own team without LeBron & Sexton is the first building block.

How do the Bulls value Kriss Dunn? Suns have a need at point and I've always liked him.

Can Dunn be attached to Felicio in order to dump his contract? Would you take a player like Chriss back? Are fans expecting a first back for him? Is unlikely to get moved in any deal?

Generally speaking, Bulls fans like him, and unless a better option comes along, he's a PG for the foreseeable future. He's a stud defender is dynamic making plays for himself and others with the ball in his hands, obviously he's not the best shooter yet but he's far from a non-shooter. Learning to improve his finishing at the rim and FT rate as well. I think he's making strides. If he was super young he'd probably relatively untouchable but he's very old for a 2nd year player.

I don't think we're motivated to lose the Felicio contract. Obviously it would be great if we could, but we're far from desperate to. It's only 8m, not the worst in the world, so I don't think we'd give up any notable assets to do so. Trading Dunn would have to be for decent value because we'd be left with a PG hole similar to yours now.

I'm not a fan of how Chriss has developed, think there's some big red flags there, but more than anything the fact that we've got Lauri and are looking to keep Portis long term makes it unlikely we'd covet another PF.

I think if we had to do a deal, a future pick would be the most likely thing we'd ask for, maybe Bender if they like him, but ultimately I don't see him dealed.
