Wait now. The Kings gave up a protected pick, and in return got an unprotected pick, a player, and cash? Now that's dealing right.

The Clippers are trading big man Mfiondu Kabengele, a future second-round pick, and cash to the Kings in exchange for a future second-rounder, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski tweets. Both second-round picks are heavily protected and are unlikely to convey, Woj adds (via Twitter).

Oh no Toronto. You dont want to be that team.... to lose to the team that lost 20 straight.
I think the Raptors are going to implode.

Nate McMillan usually gets more wins out of a team than people expect, be it the Sonics, Blazers, or Indiana.
I thought he would have been good here before the Donovan news.
Not sure if he'll go 10-0, next game is vs LAC.

Most teams around us lost their games tonight: Cleveland, Toronto, Indiana, Boston, Atlanta. The only one that won their game was Charlotte over Spurs, which was somewhat surprising after the Ball injury. We actually went up a spot to #9 even after getting spanked by the Jazz.
Lots and lots of Ls in the bottom 12 of the Eastern Conference

Clips comeback to win, big collapse by Atlanta.

I'm at the point where I actually see the Lowry trade happening. They can still easily make the play-in, the East is just too bad to rule that out, but it's probably best for both sides to move on now. Would love to see Lowry in Miami.

Yeah Charlotte is interesting. Mediocre offense, somewhat bad defense (even our defense is better), and significantly worse net rating than Chicago/Indiana/Toronto. But they're 6th, everyone else will have to play-in. I guess they just "know how to win"?

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.
NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

No thanks. I'm not giving him a huge deal for the downside of his career.

Re: Around the NBA: 2020-21 Season
Gordon was pretty overpaid, but his deal was front-loaded so he's only due $16,409,091 next season. That's a pretty cheap one+ season look at a former #4 pick who's only 25.
Potentially, he and Mr. Patrick Williams are a pretty good forward duo, quite interchangeable between SF and PF. It would depend on how much ORL expects in return, you wouldn't expect it to be too much.

I dont think many deals will be done. There are too many teams saying their players are available. Everyone is in the same boat essentially.
No one wants to give them away nor take on more salary. See Blakes non deal and probably Drummond shortly.
The Harden trade has been the only significant trade of the year and it might stay that way.

Orlando is in this weird spot though. They arent good enough to be a sure fire playoff team but arent bad enough to be a major player in the draft.
All their key guys are the same age. 28-30
I dont see them as an ascending team either. They have some room for growth in Isaac and Fultz but there are a ton of question marks.
Yeah they're in a tough spot. They're what I fear our current core would turn out to be if we keep them all.

Oladipo is probably going to the Knicks. The Knicks can offer the Rockets a good amount of cap relief, which should be enough to convince Tilman Fertitta.

No one's talking about Brogdon? Pacers are reportedly listening to offers. What could we offer them? Lauri + Coby? Not sure what they'd even want.

Brogdon would be perfect for Bulls but doubt we have the pieces Pacers would want that they could get from other teams.
