Re: Potential Zach Trade Partners? 24/25 Edition
I just don't think even 3 picks are worth taking on an older, more expensive, been moved once with that no trade clause already Beal The only way I'd be willing is along with the picks if the Bulls bundled up Carter, Craig, Duarte and Terry and got back one talented young guy to be in the rotation but the Suns don't have that guy, they've got small expiring contracts.
These huge contracts need the perfect teams to line up. It might take 5 teams and a big whiteboard circulating Butler, Beal, Lavine, picks, even Vucevic and more.

I think it's because some people like it when a dysfunctional organization is accurately described as such.

Agree those three terrible late FRPs aren’t remotely worth it. The Bulls would need more picks and also offloading Pat’s bad deal to make it a consideration. Then get Beal to agree to a buyout for the MLE amount which is what he can probably get on the market.

Bulls should fire AKME and Billy immediately. Zack is extremely talented but doesn’t have it between the ears. Bulls need to move on from Zack as soon as possible. You can’t pay this kinda money for a player that can’t play defense or turnover the ball in critical points in the game.

How exactly does this work for the Bulls though? They take back worse salary than they have now for a an arguably worse player. And for what? A pick or two the we probably won’t see for years?? No thanks.
I think we might want to wrap our minds around the idea that Zach may be here for the long haul whether we like it or not.

The difference between all these guys blogging from Mom's basement and posters here is the bloggers have a webcam. They're just picking out rumors they see online and pretending like they've got the WOJ and Shams connections and know what trades could be happening.

Bulls are not taking Bradley Beal for what essentially are 2nd round picks.

No one is willing to take him on in a fair deal because of the the new cap rules. He has two years left on his contract after this season. I’m sure it will be revisited in the Summer.
We are losing now and will likely keep our pick which is all I care about at this point. Along with Giddey and Buzelis development.

If they end up below the 1st apron at the end of the trade they can aggregate salaries.
I haven’t done the sums for that one tho
Fan Logic - Doesn’t shot 3’s = No good
It’s Giddey NOT Giddy
With the 12th pick Chicago Bulls Select: NOA ESSENGUE

Yeah if they do Portis to Detroit before this trade then that's not an issue, but as is I'm pretty sure that's an illegal trade.

Re: Potential Zach Trade Partners? 24/25 Edition
Butler is really putting pressure on not only the Heat but PHO, MIL, and the Bulls, DET, SAS all want to grab something while the Butler/Beal crowd fight. I wonder if those team are talking to see if the Bulls, Spurs, Pistons maybe TOR, PORT and others can make a trade or two to get the pieces in the right places. It wasn't that long ago that John Wall basically got paid to sit out a season, could some tanking team get Butler and just not play him? Beal could end up just sitting in PHO if they can't start winning. I don't think it's as simple as teams trying to trade the usual pieces.

KC says only way he sees Zach moved is if its part of the Jimmy multi-team deal. And the Bucks are interested in Zach as well.
In a Bucks deal maube we could take back Middleton and hope he declines his 34M PO next year to get out of a losing situation. They have almost nothing else to offer - I suppose Andre Jackson Jr is interesting and their 2031 1st. I don’t see what else the Bucks can offer…

Given how much he has struggled, I’d view it as there being a pretty minuscule chance that Middleton turns down his option.

Re: Potential Zach Trade Partners? 24/25 Edition
So according to the wiretap, the Bucks and Warriorals boht have a level of interest in Zach.
The Bucks need to get under the 2nd apron before they even think about making a trade for Zach, they also pretty much have positive no assets.
The Warriors apparently prefer trading for Zach over Butler as he's younger and cheaper, but they're weary of breaking up their 'culture' as they'd have to include Wiggins.
Zach/Terry/Craig for Wiggins/Moody/Anderson/Looney/'25 FRP works financially and the Bulls only have to waive 1 player (see ya THT).

I’d bite their hands off taking that offer if they were willing to do it.

These teams want Zach but also want him by not giving up much in value. Only to match salaries with whatever garbage they have.
I doubt AK waited this long to just trade them away for nothing.

Oh for sure, but they're probably unlikely to do so.
I just tried to put together a trade where they don't lose too much of their rotation. They keep GP2 so they retain his defence, their only 'major' loss is Wiggins.
