He has always reminded me of Harrison Barnes, and vice versa. In theory excellent basketball players, but in reality not so much, because they are robots. Stiff movements, slow decisions, a lack of feel for the game. Now that I think of it, I would put Andrew Wiggins in that camp as well.

Whereas Zach is boneheaded at times, but when attacking off the dribble he is the opposite of all those guys -- fluid, instinctive, just a joy to watch. Those guys are a chore to watch, even though they are great athletes.

In short, nah. No thanks on Aaron Gordon.

Barnes has become a really nice glue guy/role player now that higher expectations are off of him. I don't think AG or wiggins are close to that yet.

No way Pacers trade him to a division rival too unfortunately... Man Brogdon next to Zach and Lauri would be amazing.

Lakers are 4th and 4.5 up on the 8th seed. Schedule over the next month is a challenge. Lebron is out for weeks and AD isn’t returning for at least another week, they could be seeded around 7 or 8 when Lebron returns.

Amazing what 4y and some humbling can do.

People saying Coby will be out the league need to lay down the pipe. He’s gonna be good. On the other hand, whether it makes sense waiting 2-4 years for that to happen is another story.

Seems a change of scenery does a majority of NBA rookies good. There’s a certain pressure being drafted- you’re expected to be a franchise-savior, while really the % chance of that happening is probably under 1% unless you’re a superstar.

Supposedly Sabonis could become available. I have no idea why they would do that, but if so I'm offering Lauri, Carter, Coby, and like 10 draft picks.

I think Myles Turner is way more likely to be traded and Sabonis is just a smoke screen. They are probably trying to break them up so they don't have to play 2 centers in their starting lineup anymore. Sabonis plays the Jokic role on that team, I can't imagine them trading their best player away.

Same here, but if there's any truth to it we need to go all in. Even if we bleed ourselves dry of draft picks, Zach and Sabonis would be a crazy good foundation. I'd even add Williams to the above offer... basically anything and everything but Zach and we can figure out the rest of the roster later.

Agreed, though I'd listen to a Myles Turner offer as well. Turner intrigues me because he's a 3 and D center that allows you to play the 5-out offense, though his 3 ball is a bit down this year from his career avg, he's still young enough to keep improving in that area.

I've been one of the biggest supporters of trading for Turner for the skills you mentioned above, plus he's only 24.

It's just one clip but Claxton has been doing this since he returned from injury, he has been so impressive. Just as we thought the Nets would have a weakness(center), they don't.

Lauri for Turner... How would Lauri fit next to Sabonis?

How would Thad and Turner fit? Actually there is a sample size of that isn't there...

There is no way surely that they will trade Sabonis, but Turner perhaps. I'd love to get either Brogdon or Turner (or both In a magical other world that doesn't exist)

One of the reasons that I dislike rookie love is the backlash. If PWill isn't playing much better by this time next year, he will get trashed by fans, just as Lauri, Wendell, and Coby are now. And you know what? He might eventually become an All Star and still not be very good next year.

Bulls need to do everything to get Sabonis if he is available. So we can have our Murray/Jokic on East with Lavine. Go for it AK.
