This guy is about to become a gah damn monster in the NBA

That was impressive. Although it was against a guy 16 inches shorter, 15 years older, and 50 pounds lighter. But he did show good handles and a nice looking shot.

He has those scary looking young D-12 dunks

moves with the grace of a SF

And seems to have some Bosh/Garnett in the way of his mobility and shooting touch

There is a very likely chance that this man becomes the best player in the draft.

Even Cole Zwicker, who has Bamba a bit lower on his draft board, said on a podcast that Bamba has the top upside in the draft, even over Ayton and Doncic.

I love this kid too.

Somehow, someway I'm hoping for a miracle & we land Bamba/Porter Jr.

Say what you will about Isiah as a GM, but he was good when it came to drafting. It's interesting to see him give Porter tips on his dribble. Also when asked about where he sees himself in the league Porter never once mentioned defense. Not a big deal though...he's known for his scoring at this point.

For real... here's him vs Ayton (woof)

Results look a little different against someone more his size...

Lauri wasn't much of a passer last season either, or at Arizona if I'm not mistaken

People act as if Lauri accomplished more than he actually did last season. I'm not down on him, but he has work to do.

On Bamba, people also have to remember, Eddy Curry actually sucked on offense. Mostly because he couldnt pass. Maybe if NBA was 1 on 1.....

Lauri broke a few NBA records last season. I think he accomplished alot.

Isiah loves him some Porter.

Michael Porter Jr is the best player in the draft!!! No question about it… Pass on him if you want too. -Isiah Thomas, June 14

Why do you believe people on here want to discredit Porter? Actively rooting against him? Seems to me most here want a good player at 7 and if they believed Porter fit that bill, they'd be on board (like myself).

I've see his tape and I've drawn my conclusions from that. Just like you and others do about other prospects.

I remember Zeke working out with Jaylen Brown his draft season, same NBA TV set up. Had him working extremely hard, especially on his dribble.

He should be somewhere in a player devleopment role

Switch Luka and Bagley. I still think the reports are FOS that say Bagley to the Kings is a 100% done deal. I won't be surprised when Doncic's name is called at #2.

He worked out with Embiid this offseason too. I guess those videos would make u feel better.

Because you have HOF players like Isiah Thomas bring up the KD comps, or all stars like Brandon Roy- who actually coached him, talked about his advanced skills, you have reports coming out of teams drafting in the top 5 or even top 2, saying they are in love with him, and yet posters here say they see nothing in him that would indicate he's worth a lottery pick. Kind of a stark contrast.

I can see if people say, well, yes, he looks like a he could a great prospect, but just not sure if he's better than Young or Bamba or Carter. But no, people are saying that they don't see any hint of greatness in him at all. Which is just such a 180 degree difference of opinion than many pro analysts, that is hard to fathom, other than some people just don't like him, and will never give him credit no matter what he does in the nba.

If the reports of Bamba and JJJ stonewalling Memphis are true, that range of 4-7 could be directly related to where Memphis takes Carter. Whether that means staying put at 4 or moving down remains to be seen.

Regardless, if Memphis has been forced to settle on Carter, the Bulls are direct beneficiaries (unless you love Carter, which I know a couple do).

He’s definitely got talent. His shot is about as sweet as you’ll find, be it off fade aways, step backs, pull-ups, or up and unders.

The only concerns I really have with Porter is the obvious back concern and his dribble posture. He’s so straight up and down when dribbling, I worry that NBA defenders will completely stop his dribble game. Porter needs to learn to bend those knees a bit and loosen up when crossing over.

Still not sure he can play SF...but I was one that thought Lauri could play the center position. If the Bulls draft Porter and he stays healthy, worst case is you have him at PF and have the best stretch frontcourt in the league.

If you wanted to talk on his offensive impact, it left some work to do. If you are holding his impact via passing ability as an example of something Bamba may be able to do as well.

I wonder if this Bamba talk is just a smokescreen to hide interest in another guy. My guess would be Jaren Jackson Jr. If Ayton, Bagley and Doncic go in the first 3, then swapping 4 and 7 with Memphis could be in play. And I'm sure Garpax have the book on the kid: staff ties to MSU are so deep.
