I'll be more curious if anti-Trump statements are allowed.

Trump, Hong Kong, pro life, second amendment, playstaion over xbox....the options are endless.

seems like a mistake btw, just keep it simple and do a patch on all jerseys.
Just keep politics and sports seperated. There is Twitter, Instagram, fb, and a lot of other platforms where players can show their opinions.
They could do press conferences bevor and after the games if they need more space to express themselves, but let sports be played on court without.

So 3 more from the Nuggets and 3 from Pelicans tested positive? This thing hasn't even started and it's not looking good. You're a star away from basically saying it's pointless.

I want to see basketball back in a very bad way but man this looks like it's going to fail or the championship will have an enormous asterisk.

I understand why they are trying, I give them a ton of credit. Just seems like your choice is awful or terrible right now.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

I thought the testing was done early so that those that test positive could self isolate and then after a period of time they would be cleared for the season?

If not i imagine a ton of lakers will test positive since they have been rumored to practice together during the lockdown.

They were among the 16 or so players that tested positive last week that the NBA announced.

The NBA needs Zion to be amazing and for the Pelicans to turn into a dynasty.

I wonder how Oladipo bowing out will sit with his teammates?

Probably won’t mean much to them. He was already recovering from injury.

Zion won't be in NO long enough for the Pelicans to be a dynasty. I still have reservations about Zion long term.

The reservations about him are overblown.

Wizards will be without Beal and Bertans in Orlando. The worst team there got significantly worse. Who is their best player now? Thomas Bryant?!

I know it would "benefit" us, but the 2nd bubble idea seems stupid as hell.

I like Gilgeous-Alexander but ranking him ahead of Mitchell is ludicrous.

Sooo... should BRK just forfeit their Orlando run? With half their roster having COVID or injuries, at this point they are a G-League team. They were already a sub-500 squad with Kyrie and Dinwiddie. I guess Zion's playoff debut is looking quite certain.

I guess I should've known FL and Trump were gonna mismanage the pandemic, but I do wish the NBA had not "gone for gold" with a full-length finish to the season. Things are going downhill, and I'm having a hard time seeing how the site remains COVID free for 3 months.

I really think they should've gone World Cup format. Made it a short 1-month spectacle. This is obviously the asterisk of all asterisk seasons. Could've done the one month training/pre-season and then gone to 3 group stage games to decide the playoff brackets, into a really fun 2-week elimination tournament. Formed 4x4 groups based on reg. season record (with 16 teams, plus maybe 8 more if they wanted to still do the play-in tournament) and let it run.

Passing four 7-game series with the COVID risk factor looming large? My goodness, whoever wins will deserve a marathon trophy on top of the finals. But it's gonna have less to do with basketball and more with luck and safety protocol.

Are there odds on this whole thing being shut down?

It feels like were heading this direction on a fast train.

Just what I was thinking too.

Nets will be fielding G Leaguers.
