How are we getting Cade or Suggs? With a top 3 protected first? Another failed tank. Stop living in dreamland with scenarios that are very unlikely to happen.

Re: NBA Trade Thread #2
Couple of ideas I like a lot:
Spurs trade : Murray
Bulls trade: WCJ, Felicio
Murray is a good point guard that is elite defensively and can handle the ball quite a bit, and is signed long term.
Bulls trade: Sato, 2021 2nd rounder, 2022 2nd rounder
Kings trade: Parker, Holmes
Holmes is a free agent, but the Bulls get a close look and inside track to a long term contract for perhaps the most underrated player in the league.
Not the sexiest deals, but this team would be much better offensively and defensively.
Murray, White
Lavine, White
Pat Will, OPJ
Lauri, OPJ
Holmes, Gafford

Realistically what type of trade value are Bulls hoping to get back for LaVine?

This is a hot topic among Bulls fans. Some think that Zach would be fine as a 1B option on a title team. Others think he's no better than a 6th man.
I would trade him for a promising young player + 1 or 2 first rounders (depending on the player and the value of the picks).
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

cade with bulls first, Green with Wolwes 4 pick. Dreamland maybe, but in realitty there is 25-35% chances to this happend, or Green and one of Z.Williams/J.Johnson. To have two that kind of prospects on 4y rookie deals and max space avaliable much better than having to pay max for Zach or let him walk for nothingjordanwilliams6 wrote:Kukoc-Lauri wrote:Realitty check, maybe your guy Lavine is not that good (he is not franchise type player wort max in 22 and he never was, Cade&Jalen&PWill our future, forgett empty stat chuker Zach)PrimzyBulls81 wrote:![]()

From this Bulls fans view, I’ve got to get a major piece, whether that’s a likely high lottery pick or really promising player on rookie deal, plus 1 or 2 later picks. And I’m still not sure if I’d do it. He’s been so impressive this year.

Question for the forum at large. How long before KAT asks for a trade out of Minnesota? They are in the start of another dysfunctional losing season with an unbalanced roster. KAT has had his share of the blame possibly but what do you think?

DRuss is signed through 2022-23. I suspect KAT will wait until he is not with the team before requesting something official. It's tough to bring in a friend and then bail on him, leaving him with the mess.

That's good to know since I wasn't aware he was tight with D'Angelo. Oh well, I was asking to formulate trade ideas for top 20 players who are tired of losing.MisterRoy wrote:MalagaBulls wrote:Question for the forum at large. Wonder how bad DET wants out of Griffin's contract? Lauri/Otto/Thad/Felicio for Griffin/Grant?
Grant and PWill would be a nice pairing in our front court!

I am sure that Detroit would do this in a heartbeat... Griffin contract is awful, Grant contract is at best okay.
I am willing to bet though, most of the Bulls board is not agreeance on this deal.

Good point, but next offseason looks like a FA bust. IIRC Griffin has 1 yr (PO) left, and could become a tradable contract at the next deadline. At worst, it punts our cap space forward a season and exchanges Lauri into a better player (Grant).

Would you consider Rozier, Monk, 2021 first for Lavine and WCJ?

Yeah, I think a starting point would need to be either Ball plus your 21 pick or your 21 and 23 unprotected picks included.
Honestly thought, I would say it will be hard to pry Zach away from this FO, given that he (and maybe PWill) seem to be their only foundational pieces to build on. I'm sure Carter can be had for a protected 1st. I think White would be a better target for you guys than Zach...his game seems well suited to mesh with Ball.

Yeah Ball is pretty much untradeable at this point.
19 year old showing flashes on a rookie deal doesn't ever make sense to trade.

Getting back to KAT, would he have appeal if he were on the trade block?
