It does explain things really well. But it still doesn't tackle to why its killing the game. What they did over the years is buff the offense and nerf the defense.

The Illegal defense, the hand checking etc, has made it that the offense has full autonomy.

I think this year, the league is in early stages of panic. They are trying to do everything to re-spark interest. It didnt work for the in-season tourney, and It certainly wont work for the allstar game.

All the networks that just signed up to have the NBA are not happy.
