I was actually thinking that's something that could be a possibility next offseason if Russell continues to improve

He was already traded for Korver and he is a headcase. We don't need any character concerns right now.

Bulls are in talent acquisition phase of the rebuild and they lack talent at the SF position whoever works out between Jackson and Hutch you keep and trade the other

GS isn't going to sign a guy just to trade him. That wouldn't be a good look, especially after the KD thing.

I think Russell is a perfect for GS. He lets Steph play off the ball a lot and lets Klay play SF, which may be better for him given age/injury. He's got the size for it.

Still don't need or want bad character guys. Period. He wasn't wort the potential headache. Don't care where he was drafted 3 years ago.

I don’t think it a bad look and they truly got him just to have an asset. Hell they may have even promised him they woukd move him because he could have signed with Minny. No one around the league thinks it was a good intentional fit is was just a way to help them minimize the loss of KD for nothing.

Yeah that’s a dumb trade. Perfect sense for GS but that would put us at 5 PGs and no starting SF. Plus give up a pick. Click bait.

i don't think it makes sense for GS. Klay has SF size and isn't a super athlete. He's coming off an injury and almost 30. Why not move him to SF and add another creator?

I’m fine with Klay as a SF but then who is guarding the SG? OPJ fits the need for them better today too especially with Klay out. GS greatest need isn’t a creator either their defense is looking to be a big problem. Unlike Philly who has a majorly awesome looking defense now but needs some scoring. Even if Russell works out for GS in what way woukd that trade make sense for the Bulls?

I'd rather Chase a deal for Iggy for one year.

But I'm probably more content to stand Pat until a consolidation trade opportunity presents itself.

We are significantly deeper than we were last year but our starting five is far from a death squad.

We need a big and a wing. Post Archi signing, we have two roster spots left, but that means we can't bring back Shaq to the active, nor add anyone else later on.
Edit.....duh....forgot we signed Luke.

Ok, we need a wing...time to move Dunn.
Memphis flavor please (or Moore from N.O.)

I really struggle to Fathom how a 1.6 million dollar contract is killing us in any way shape or form.

Felicio certainly doesn't help our cap situation but he's not killing us either he's just one bad contract quite frankly he's pretty much our only bad contract.

It's not going to be long before we are going to have to commit to a core and then build on it byactually going over the cap making trades the gain salary give up future picks etc.

However it's been a long time since our front office has been fired up about doing that especially with an unproven group.

Honestly there could be a lot of trades. Draymond might end up being traded if they feel they can’t keep him. Beal is always there. As the season turns south on some teams who knows what pops up. We are finally in a position to actually make some offers.

GSW is lining up to move Russell to Minny for a Covington and filler type deal. They probably want someone like that next to Klay and Steph. Russell and Towns are buddies and Minny wanted him before all this.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes
