I love Doug, but a couple of years ago didn't his source say Amare to the Bulls was a done deal? No offense to Doug, but I am definitely taking this with a grain of salt.

I did hear that. I was told that it was a done deal [like in league offices waiting for approval]. I am skeptical of the story myself for the same reason of getting burned in the past, so you have every right to be skeptical.

Another bit of information, a major component of the Bulls management, doesn't believe that Toronto will sign and trade Bosh unless they get an all-star in return which is why Joe Johnson is considered a major target and the Bulls would speak very seriously with Booze.

BTW, I think we should just create a Bulls' posters source thread. I really didn't feel like making a thread for my info cas it would take up space and of course, nothing is ever set in stone. Also, guys, be sure not to get mad at anyone on this board who posts information, especially the good ones like doug, insideinfo, etc. Negativity like that causes people to post less and less tidbits. Thanks. I'm sure they have talked to Toronto prior to free agency. However, Toronto won't get any All-Star for Bosh. New Jersey won't offer Lopez, possibly/prolly Harris. New York can offer Gallo. Chicago can offer any combo of Taj, JJ, and Deng. If Toronto wants a TE, we all can give them that. Then it becomes where does Bosh want to go?

It appears that Chicago wants to sign Bosh first, if they can come to terms with him and Toronto. Otherwise they want to lock up JJ over Boozer. I'll be happy with any one of them, I'd prefer a PF first. But I'm happy with the direction the Bulls are currently going.

A source very familiar with how contract's think, told me that they believe Lebron James will become a Free Agent as early as Thursday. It's unsubstantiated and I don't know what to make of it at this point, but I'm just passing it along.

For me, it isn't over until it's over, though I'll be pretty excited when we hear about players agreeing to terms starting here in a few days.
