I hate to be one of those I got sources and take it with a grain of salt but I just got a text from someone I trust ( They actually texted me early yesterday saying Toronto was one of the teams we were talking to) is saying Houston is asking for Asik, Charlotte's 1st and Miami's 1st for Courtney Lee and Jordan Hill

I hate posting stuff because it's 3rd hand and know a lot of you's like to poke fun at people but oh well.

I'd have to give that serious thought. It's overpaying kind of, pretty much but...

Yeah seems that way. At that price I think it's worth going for Mayo even if it ends up giving up a little more.

I don't like Jordan Hill as a 5 (too small) and I think Taj is a better 4. Hopefully this is Houston pushing back, and both sides settle in the middle: Drop out all the bigs, and just do Charlotte and Miami pick for Lee.

I'm against the Ralph deal. Too many assets. Not too familiar with Hill, but I'd prefer Asik to Hill so the two firsts on top of that is too much.

Cliff Levingston has given up on the idea of getting Mayo. The Grizzlies FO won't accept anything that reflects his current value, so don't get your hopes up. They need him even more now with Gay out for a month as well.

Kind of overpaying? Try vastly overpaying. Lee isn't worth the Charlotte pick alone let alone Hill being worth Asik and Miami's 1st. That would be a vast overpayment.

If Lee will come for the Charlotte 1st then so be it; that pick isn't going to do us any good any time soon so Cliff Levingston could handle that. Adding more to it is going overboard.
