Unless Rose didn't look so hot on the court...

Scottie vacationing with him was a big deal though.

I was thinking of this today. Wish he could have got 10% ownership or something.

MJ with the Bulls and this city could be dynamite, much more powerful then recruiting players to Charlotte.

MJ coming into the UC with a cigar and 6 rings on to talk to Melo would be dynamite.

I guess I don't understand this one that much. I've seen people saying it a lot. So do the fans at soldier field just sit in there seats all year around? I actually think most of the places he is visiting has a nicer football field then Chicago.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Why would they say that when it is not accurate?

I have zero doubt that they can clear everyone out, up to and including Jimmy, and offer a bit over 18.

I have little doubt that they can clear out everyone but Jimmy (four guaranteed contracts in MJD, Snell, Smith and Randolph, plus unguaranteed deals than can just be cut), and can offer about 16.5 to start.

It might cost some future assets, but we are talking about MJD on a value deal (3 mil), Snell, who has some value as a rotation player, Smith, who has some value as a rotation player, and Randolph, who has a small deal at 1.8 M and might even also have value as a rotation player (and the Bulls could send the cash out to cover his contract).

I was going off Cowley's report that said the Bulls pitch was if no S/T then they'd offer 14-15M. I hope they aren't serious about that number.

Depends if Melo is flying to Texas tonight or tomorrow. Speaking of which, just had this terrible thought. So Melo rode up to the UC on some lame hotel shuttle bus. Tomorrow, you know that Cuban is going to pick him up in his pimped out private jet. Kind of a bad contrast there.
