We can offset the 10M if we dump Sato. Which should happen if we trade for Lonzo IMO.

We bought really high on Vuc. Hopefully it translates to the playoffs. I think we need that Lauri/Lonzo deal to happen now.

With how brutal FA crop is this year, I'm cool with that. And, to top it off, it sets us up REALLY well for 2022 with a core of at least Lavine/Vuc/PWill

what's the benefit of dumping sato just to save some money? if we're trying to be competitive, keeping a very solid role player who can pass and space the floor seems like a good idea

I also like that a pick is likely to convey immediately this year too. I believe that means following the draft, we can still trade up to 3 FRPs if some other disgruntled star becomes available. Anyone know how the timing of that works? Would we need to wait until the draft is completed, or does it exercise as soon as the lottery is decided (or other)?
