He extended going for the block, his leg landed on the padding almost like rolling an ankle, but it was higher than that... like at the shin. It was similar to the Josh Childress injury.

Adrenalin and shock to the system probably hit him instantaneously. I know I almost lost my hand years ago, didn't even realize it had been nearly severed until I looked down at it. The body has a way of cutting the brain off through trauma.

Damn I feel for PG. Hoping for a full and complete recovery.

Damn ESPN...why would you show that again? In this day and age if people really want to see it, they'll go online and look at it.

Really really sucks for PG.

But honestly? It looks like he broke his bones in his lower leg. Of course you don't want any injury, but if you were to have one, broken bones are much better than destroying a joint and its ligaments. Bones can heal in 6-8 weeks after a fracture, followed by a couple more months of strengthing/rehab. It's much better than tearing an ACL or something along those lines.

I'm optimistic for him. Hopefully none of the other structures (ligaments etc) are injured.
