This may not be the place for it, but we need to understand that the dynamic between the HC and the FO is different now. While we should expect collaboration between Donovan and the FO, it won't be the same as Boylen desperately trying to hang onto his job by taking every FO suggestion as a directive. Donovan hasn't won a title, but he's made his bones. He'll manage the PG situation as he sees it and the FO will trust his judgment.

So you're saying you wouldn't take either Lance or Wilson if they were within reach? Because most mocks Ive seen have them going in the first half of the first round.

i'm saying that they don't appear to be worth WANTING to lose games for. my instinct is to take a swing if they happen to fall into our laps. or even trade up a few spots. but do you throw them out there as obvious developmental players behind a crappy O-line as rookies? that seems like a recipe for failure. and i'm not sure what the alternative is - keep foles around another year? i guess

You have to improve the O Line first and foremost. No rookie QB is going to help that. If you improve the o line, Foles can look serviceable. Indeed if a QB drops in your lap you have to take him, but that still doesn't change the horrible nonsense that is that O Line and no one will succeed with that.

Agreed. The Bears must absolutely go O-Line first. No QB, not even Tom Brady can succeed behind this line. IMO, the whole thing needs to be scrapped, and yes, that includes James Daniels.

PS, I'm starting to realize why TB it having a hard time. Their receivers are dumb, their OLine is jekyll and hyde from play to play, and they want to throw deep balls to guys like Sean Miller. SMH

What a waste of that great run. Bears cannot afford to only get 3 there.

Receivers not doing Mitch any favors. Needed a TD there.

Both of those should have been TDs. Kmet and ARob gotta make those grabs.

Mitch looked decisive. I like uptempo.

The Hollywood script is written isn’t it? 3 TDs, 0 INT, 462 yards

surprising Nagy (ahem, Lazor) didn’t waste any plays running the ball between the tackles down there

we know the bears arent going to make any noise this year. But, this pass rush was supposed to dominant. Rodgers could be barbecuing while his receivers get open. all day to throw

No pressure at all. Defense is getting shredded.

Packers have been a quick starting team all year.

They fade.

Mitch still can’t throw the deep ball and he goes deep into double coverage for Mooney... who is our smallest WR.
