Looks like he can fit a plug and play role on a team. Our current PF can't dribble for s*** either. Lol

Looks like he'll still be 20 at the time of the draft. He did have a jump in 3pt shooting, but it might be legit. It's steadily gone up every year. Might be normal improvement.

Buzelis is our current PF. Or or you projecting him as SF?

Yeah folks think Billy will actually play big with Buz at 3 but he doesn’t. He plays 3 guards and Buz or Pat at 4. Rarely they play together.

We need a 5 by far the most.

I like Buz at the 3, but honestly those two forward spots are so interchangeable it doesn't matter. I like Buzelis' foot speed more against quicker wings defensively though. I'd hate for him to try to bulk up so much he loses that advantage.

I'm still good with taking Maluach as a project there. I know Queen has lifted his profile, but I feel we're back to Vuc like issues defensively if he's our 5.

No to Queen. We need top defensive ability at center. He doesn’t have it.

That's the best game I've seen Maluach play. He was great. So was Knueppel; in fact, Flagg was the team's 3rd best freshman on the night. (Missed too many shots, passed too often to the other team. His defense was flawless, though.)

His offense wouldn't be as good for any other team; Duke's collective BBIQ is top notch, and its bevy of 3 point shooters + Flagg draws the opposition from the basket, opening up Maluach for oop after oop. That said, the guy is excellent at reading the play and knowing when to roll. He's very raw but he clearly has a head for the game.

I can see Knueppel falling to 11th due to his perceived ceiling... I cant see Maluach falling to 11 with his upside, unless i am really off on his shooting floor.

He would probably be a 15 ppg guy with 30+ 3PA on any other team. He is raw but Duke is purposely limiting what he can do. I have said it before Duke's goal is a National Title and they dont want "growing pains" from there starters. He is a guy who will be jacking up threes this summer league.

He can't dribble, can't pass, and is shooting 25% on 3s. He's clearly smart and focused, so I expect him to develop greatly. But this year on offense ... nah. Needs to be spoon fed.

What centers are great dribblers? He shooting 33% (3-9) over his last 15 games (shows he isn't taking them much) & 32% from 3 on over 50 attempts last year in his pro league & currently 76% from the FT line (on 1.9 FTA). Duke isn't limiting him because he cant do it. But why have him taking 3-4 3's a game when Flagg and Kon are both hitting 38+%? Why put a 7'2" guy on the perimeter? Duke isn't here to work on his game to make him the #2 pick they are trying to win a title. I'm not saying he is going to be 40% 3PT shooter next year but he isn't like Zach Edey out there from 20ft. He easily has the most upside in the Bulls drafting range.

This Noa Essengue guy wouldn’t look so bad at that SF spot.

I’d take any of the Duke top 3. Although our anti-tank philosophy should ensure we don’t get anyone of too much value.

I think Maluach goes top 7.

Kon could fall to teens.

Don’t know how he’d get mins for our team. Too small to take Pat’s mins at PF. Lot of guys ahead of him for wing guard mins.

It’s a shame to because he’s a plug and play guy from day one.

Huerter isn't a long term piece. He will be a FA in a year so at that point Kon gets those 25-30 MPG.
