Someone or ones here called it. Didn't help, but, seemed like their best hope, however small that was.

They are probably closer to saying blow it up after this game.

I may owe Ainge an apology. Maybe he knew his team was way too weak and crappy to be a PG or Butler away.

Insane the talent difference between Cleveland and the rest of the conference.

I said this last year, but at some point you just have to stop hating (when he's not playing the bulls) and just enjoy watching Lebron play.

Honestly though, its actually looking right now that they will in fact just keep their picks and stash them for a season or two. Then let IT and others walk, and start over with their draft picks who would have had 2-3 years head start.

F Lebron and f Cleveland. He keeps making the finals so easily, east is terrible. Every damn year we have to watch Lebron and his stpd super teams play in the final because there's not enough competition. I'm sure in the west he wouldn't make it that often.

He's ridiculously great and still the best basketball player alive. By a lot.

Absolutely. Might see who I could get firsts for this draft or next. Have to be careful though, if Lebron does get injured, they are next in line, at least for the moment.

Heck we are closer to matching up against the Cavs then they are.

If they could haul Paul George and Hayward, then it would make it more interesting but I still dont think it would be enough

There are so many ring chasers now that its really hard for a team without a mega star to win a title. Its starting to feel like there will never be a 2004 Pistons again.

Agree about the road to the Finals being easy for him, but if he beats the best of the West, then you still have to give him credit. If he can beat this years Warriors team, he cements himself as the 2nd best player ever, if he hasn't already.

So with Boston getting blown out this bad. Are people still wanting to keep Butler and remain "competitive"?
AKME? More like MEAK with how they're afraid to make a move to push us in one direction.

I have also stopped sort of short changing Lebron years ago. I just came to realize that for each year that passes, you have more of a contingent that has never seen Jordan play.

I can certainly concede that we most likely are watching the greatest player ever. When you consider length of career and accolades. Its sort of hard to then say well he didnt have Jordans killer instinct and say thats the major negative.

Lebron can probably play for another 7-8 years by the looks of it.

Supposes he goes to the finals 10 straight years which probably is possible in the East. Thats more gun power in the resume. Some things are sort of just undeniable.

I hate him when he plays us, I love beating him every chance we get, but I certainly appreciate his greatness now.

The one thing that is amazing about Lebron is how many NBA miles he has on his body and how few injuries he has had. Its freakish.

The worst part of this game is that you know some Celtics fan shelled out some really good cash to go to this. It was going to be their dream night and its just a complete nightmare now. Oof.

He'd also be undefeated in the finals then or at least have a winning record. Whatever you think hurts his legacy more, wish for that

They were in great spirits even down almost sixty. The crowd was cheering, loudly in the fourth.

It's really a moral victory, you got #1 pick, and room for a max contract, plus another high lotto pick if not #1 again. They have a great bench and role players.

They could ad up to three elite talents to their roster very soon. The Celtics are only going to get better.
