I've been toying with the idea of playing Young at PG and Dunn at SF. I think Dunn is versatile enough to play SF. I'm too lazy to check the stats right now, but by gut feeling Dunn's 3pt shot has improved.
Best case would be that Markkanen and LaVine are the primary scorers, Young the primary playmaker/secondary scorer, and Dunn secondary playmaker/scorer. Add a center who can make inside out passes and finish at the rim, and our offence should be set. Defensively this setup would be cringy with one (or two) +d players and two -d players, but you can't always have everything...
Isn't Dunn too short to play the SF position? At least long term. I don't think he could guard LeBron, Durant, Otto Porter, Tatum, Covington, George, etc. All 6' 8" or taller.
