The odds of us getting the 5th pick are actually 0%.

Pretty crazy that the 7th pick would actually be a very good outcome considering it's significantly more likely we land at 8. Even the Warriors have a close to 50% chance of landing the 5th pick, so their worst possible outcome is the most likely one by far. Tanking is dead.

It is crazy that our chances of 8 or below are almost 50%! But if there was a draft where it would bother me (a little) less, it's this one.

Wow those odds are crazy. But i like our 7.5% chance at the top pick. Too bad everybody thinks no superstar would come out of this draft.

if you really think the Bulls have 7% chance, thats not really good expectations bc the lottery is probably rigged.
The Bulls really dont have any connections to number 1 prospects to justify getting it like they did with Derrick Rose.
I just dont see it Silver gifting one.

And the tankathon makes me believe even more if your going to tank make it top 5 worst pick at worst to not skip on 5,6th.
Detroit still has 10% chance compared to number 1 pick 14% so its decent odds.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

If the draft was rigged, Zion would be in New York and Ja would probably be in LA or CHI. But they're playing on small market teams.

Hopefully the bulls look into Dany Adjiva. I like his game. I have him pegged as the top Small forward in this draft. 6’10 and looking from his highlights have nice and deceptive straight line speed. Decent handle handle for a guy his height. He seems to be a nice passer with a high IQ. I’ll have to look into his defense though. His shoting form looks good so I can see him improving in that area as he matures. If the bulls stay at 7 I wouldn’t be mad with the bulls picking him.

This draft is tricky though. Let’s just say the bulls do luck and get a top 3 pick. The best players in this draft seem to be Ball, Wiseman, Edwards. I would put Toppin up there to. I think we are good at the 1 and 2 position, with White and Lavine. I think the bulls are good at the Center position with Carter. It’s a tough position to be in. I honestly don’t think any of these prospects are heads and shoulders better than the other. If I’m going from a talent standpoint. My top 6 players in this draft are 1) Wiseman 2) Edwards 3) Ball 4) Toppin 5) Danni Adjiva, 6 Onkungwu.

First, I reject the premise that the Bulls should think 1 second about who is on the roster when drafting, because we are lacking a #1 option. If anyone has potential to be a #1 option guy, and that guy is available draft that guy regardless of our roster. It's like not drafting MJ when you had Clyde D., except we're dealing with a poor man's version of that. I am adjusting my tune from BPA to HCA (Highest Ceiling Available), that guy may not be the "best player" right now and may have a Tyrus Thomas floor, but I am in the swing for the fences or whiff mode.

I think Deni will be AK’s guy. Playmaker. Passer. Versatile Defender. Fierce Competitor. High IQ.

Given what AK has said what he’s looking for I think these will be the guys if available at our pick...
Melo
Edwards
Deni
Hayes
Okoro

I’m happy with any of those guys. Deni is probably the best fit.

Latest mock on nbadraft.net has Wiseman going to us at 7. Because the top guys all have big question marks, I'd be fine with any of
Edwards
Ball
Deni
Hayes
Okoro
Toppin
Wiseman
Vassell
Haliburton

I couldn't tell anyone with a high degree of certainty that one guy on that list had a meaningfully higher chance of becoming an allstar than any other.

If Bulls get 1-2, I like Edwards. If it's #3, I consider Wiseman but probably not: rather trade down for Deni (4-5) and avoid the big man crusade. If they stay/drop 7-9, I like Haliburton. After him, via trade down (10-14) I like Vassell or Nesmith. Bigger trade down (16-20): Precious, Poku, Jalen Smith.

Going by small sample size. I think it's imperative the Bulls get a long athlete who can shoot the ball if it's a lotto pick. A legit question with Deni, though his form looks good.

Interesting to see if AK would take LaMelo with a top-3 pick. I think not. Poor shooting is such a big draft risk.

#1 Wiseman
#2 Deni
#3 Edwards

* If u go with Edwards, you essentially have a 2 SG ball handlers. I dig that. I could see Zach/Edwards working very VERY well together. He's my ROY pick right now.

* If you go with Wiseman, Lauri stays where he needs to be and you have a twin towers situation. Wiseman moves much better than Wendell and has IMO, AD like potential. He's my #1 guy. Wendell would be better served as the team's 6th man and can play with both bigs. Let's be real, Wendell is a Antonio Davis/Dale Davis type with a more vast skill set.

* Deni, I see in the long run, having the most upside. He's only 18 but he's 6"8, loves defense, great shooting touch and can handle/finish/pass.

I hope to the lord up high we land any of these guys. I would probably trade LaMelo Ball + #38 for a star caliber player. He reminds me of a younger Shaun Livingston type. Not sold on any of the Ball guys.

Deni looks like a 4 to me, not a 3.

I like him too. I don't see him getting drafted though. I'd certainty bring him in as an UDFA

Wisemann isn't dropping to 7. I can guarantee it.

My picks in order that I believe fit us best obviously depending on where we pick. Ball, Deni Avdijia ,Vassell,Nesmith, Bey, Kira Lewis, Poku, Paul Reed.

Quick thoughts - Ball - I believe he would make everyone better and make the offense flow, be this year's Ja Morant, who again made the Grizzlies better.
Avdjia - 3/4, can be a better Gallanari, good secondary playmaker.
Vassell - very definition of 3 and D, but cant create, amazing shooter and almost like Mikal Bridges on D.
Nesmith - 3 and D, more of a team defense guy then individual stopper.
Bey - 3 and average D. more team defense
Kira Lewis - White and Lavine would start and Kira would light it up off the bench and keep us in the game while starters took a break
Poku - love to trade Thad and or Sato for him. 7 ft shooter who is a good passer and can block shots. Project. Thin, not sure he can hold up, will take at least a year for him to be ready.
Reed - love to get him in the 2nd round or late 1st. see a lot of Siakim in him. Will take 3-4 years defense is ahead of offense but lots of potential.

Return to Chicago Bulls
