Brett Siegel saying Noa 2nd on Bulls board after Demin. Too bad he will be long gone by then.

Re: 2025 Draft prospects - thread 2
Noa is creeping up my board at 6'10 with MB 6'10, that would be a length sf/pf combo. Not big on Egor though but hey if he's BPA I'll welcome him

Bulls wont take Derik Queen if Vuc is still on the team
Utah isn't passing on Kon Knueppel
Liam McNeeley will go in the mid to late 20s
Egor Demin wont last till 18

I was high on Bamba and still think he looks pretty damn good whenever he gets a chance. I don't know if he sucks in the locker room or is lazy or something, but his skillset was/is legit.
I was big on Bamba too. I was living in Austin at the time and caught a few UT games. Bamba was dominant in that setting. Blocking shots, covering out to the 3 point line. I'd watch him warm up hitting "3s" like layups. But he just never lived up to the expectations I had for him. I don't know if it's physical or mental. He's not a complete bust. But he's only achieved a fraction of the success I thought he'd have.

Utah will take Tre if he’s there IMO.
Agree Liam will go late.
I don’t know about Demin. Word was he was inside top 10 then we haven’t heard anything in awhile.

I truly can't believe we would take Demin, He's a terrible prospect and redundant.

I have to agree on the redundant part, but let's hope another teams takes him before he gets to us, and or this is just a smoke screen to push another prospect down. But I do agree I don't under the fit if we already have Ball, and of course, Giddy.

Demin might not go top 10 but he wont last till 18. Kon and Tre have a similar skill set with Johnson winning out with mensurables but i think Kon fits better in Utah.

I hope this is a smoke screen for both. Don't like either of them.Chi town wrote:Brett Siegel saying Noa 2nd on Bulls board after Demin. Too bad he will be long gone by then.

Demin is redundant if he pans out, which is a very big if.
Noa is playing against bad competition, but I could talk myself into him if he is the pick.

I mean, his career per 36 numbers are pretty outstanding at 15 ppg, 12rpg, 3 bpg, 2 apg, and 36 percent three point shooting on 5 attempts. These numbers aren't everything, but they do suggest that a productive player exists there. The question is just why no one has given him a chance to be a true full-time starter, and at this stage in his career that's likely unrelated to his talent.

Re: 2025 Draft prospects - thread 2
fwiw, i can't actually find any reporting from siegel (or anyone else) saying that essengue is second on the bulls list.
siegel is saying that people are linking us to demin, though:
he also said in his most recent mock that we're being talked about as a potential spot for teams to trade up:

Teams continue to monitor what the Bulls will ultimately decide to do with this pick, as those looking to move up in the lottery are eyeing this selection with key names expected to fall outside the top 10.

My concern with Noa is the lower level competition hes played against…didn’t realize he actually played a preseason game vs Portland last year
20 pts, 8reb, 3 ast, 2 stl, 6/14 FG, 3/6 3PT in 34 minutes as a 17 year old vs (mostly) NBA competition. Sure its 1 preseason game…but not bad…

Bamba is currently a free agent. At age 27 why wouldn’t a team like the Bulls just sign him to a vet minimum contract and see what he has? The Bulls have a clear need for a defensive minded Center with size and if Vuc gets moved this offseason there would be a clear place for Bamba on this team.

I like Egor Demin more than most, but I kind of want him to be a smokescreen because it's embarassing that every draft the league seems to know exactly who we want. Let's be cunning and sleuthy for once.

I wouldn’t. Until I got to actually see them play.

Under AK? I didn’t see any of them coming, the good ones or the bad ones.
