What's the trade with them?

I guess T Evans is available, though they’re not a trade partner for us

Why bring this up in the trade thread, then?

wished for trade at draft time. Wonder if we could have traded Jordan Bell to the Warriors for Patrick Mccaw. McCaw would have given us another shooting guard, small forward prospect who would have kept Zipser on the Bench; and gotten much more playing time with us than with the Warriors. Oh well. Too late now.

I see I’ve ruffled board police feathers. Apologies if this is a misplaced comment. I guess there is some form of relevance in that other teams tanking hard should create an incentive for Bulls management to try to TRADE Niko and other older players. But I am definitely open to suggestions if you want me to recategorize my comment.

Memphis will get a new guy to build with, probably trade Marc too. If I was the Cavs, I'd be looking at Gasol for sure.

I'm not a moderator and you didn't ruffle my feathers. I see someone is unnecessarily defensive when asked a question...

Agreed, my answer was defensive. Sorry, I misinterpreted the intent of your question.

Should we take a flyer on Hezonja and try to sign him cheap next year?

It's been reported Hezonja, Payton and Fournier are all on the block for Orlando.

Washington should be all over Niko IMO. He'd be a great fit for them and would really round out their lineup.

Every day the Bulls don't trade these guys their pick gets worse. They need to weigh that against the return they're holding out for.

Oubre makes so much sense for us.

take the pick and Bobby Portis to move up in the draft and grab the future C

Yeah, that's by far the best fit IMO. There are only a few teams sincerely trying to contend, and Washington is one of those. Utah is in the thick of the tank race, and Portland is banging on the door to the lottery as well.

Really dislike how the colluding superstars have imbalanced the game. Over half the teams in the league want to tank. The NBA really dropped the ball here.

Niko fits best with Portland and Washington but unfortunately there isn't a great trade really for either of them...

Imagine what Bobby could get you by the deadline? Another lotto pick?

Keep Niko? Move him at the draft + filler/pick

Imagine having 3 top 15 picks in this draft.

We need to keep one of Mirotic/Portis long term. Having two bigs on the court that stretch the floor is a big part of our our success and we need to keep that ability. Those type of players are not common..at least not ones that are actually good. It shouldn't be taken for granted.

Agreed, I'd like to keep 2 stretch guys as well but that doesn't mean we can't land another one.

But why trade them both just to try to land another one?

I'm not saying to do that, I'm just saying it won't be impossible to find another stretch guy in the future. It's a nice luxury but we don't exactly need a handful of stretch PF's to win

I personally don't want to get rid of Bobby. I'd like to keep atleast one but at this point, I'm all in on Lauri/Zach/Kris
