So was Birdman when Miami got him

For a role player he’d be good. To be honest I’m just more annoyed he went to Milwaukee .

So Milwaukee and Toronto got better, I think.

I think he's got something left in the tank. I would have only wanted him as a buyout candidate though, but feared the Nets would get him.

Been a tough season with so many injuries, but I'm just happy that we have players who actually wanna be here man.

Would this have all been avoided if Kyrie simply got the shot or Brooklyn allowed him to play from the beginning?

I’m sure it would. I don’t get the fear of public backlash at all.

I don’t like Harden’s floppy foul-driven game one bit, so not a fan of his. But I get wanting to get out of there away from Kooky Kyrie. I’d want to play with guys interested more interested in the NBA title than some personal stance that doesn’t change anything...whether you agree or disagree with him.

Harden went full cancer mode literally one season ago to force his way into a backcourt with Kyrie.

This has nothing to do with Kyrie. This is, as always, about Harden. This is what he does.

That Bucks frontcourt when Lopez gets back is going to be nuts. I'm simply not liking our chances by throwing Vooch/Javonte/DJJ/Pat? out there. I think we'd get eaten alive

I mean, we're both biased against the guy, you more than I. But I highly doubt he could've predicted the no vax, miss half the games thing.

Is Lopez coming back? I assumed this move was security in case Lopez misses the entire season.

Nice deal for BKN. Not sure about PHILLY, but they got the guy they wanted. I'm sure it's a bad deal for us.

Nets are a lot more beatable now. Can't believe they made that trade unless Harden was planning on pulling a Ben Simmons and sitting out the rest of the season.

This makes the Sixers the prohibitive favorite in the East, although I would never underestimate the ability for Doc Rivers to **** things up.

A lot depends on Embiid's health, but yeah if healthy they are probably the favorites. I feel like we need to make a move now, even if it's minor.

Morey actually got it done. Waiting paid off big time.

I kinda like it for both teams, though. Harden had checked out already, for whatever reason.

I don't think the Nets got worse. I think they got better. Simmons is only 25 and if he doesn't work out for them they can trade him for Lillard. Harden was likely going to sign with 76ers next season anyway or Nets don't make this deal. Nets still have Aldridge, Griffin so with a healthy lineup of KD/Irving/Simmons/Aldridge/Griffin will still be tough to beat.

Philly becomes an even w orst matchup for us. Nets become beatable.

Harden is overrated, smart player and can play really well but this isn't going to be Kobe/Shaq people. Nets if healthy still have the deeper team.

Nets are finally balanced now instead of being an all offense team. What they lost in 3pt shooting, they added in defense and size. They have the right cast to surround Simmons with KD, Kyrie, Curry, and Mills. I think that team will be really tough to beat.

Philly got a lot better adding James Harden for a player who wasn't even playing for them all year. But they certainly are combustible.

Actually, it kinda is. This year's Embiid is every bit as good as prime Shaq, and Harden before this year was every bit as good as prime Kobe. Now, Harden has been struggling some this season ... but if he sorts it out, man Philly will be a handful.

Hoping that Harden and Simmons stay as total dancers because this is not looking good for us . Both teams cut out fats and walked away looking better. Simmons is absolute dead space, and Harden leaving balances BKN out.
