Dear Baby Jesus, please let a team be dumb enough to give us a 2nd for Dalen Terry.

Anyone betting on the draft? DK has Holland and Carter tied at favorites to go to us all the way at +550. Given all the smoke around Carter, could be worth the longshot play

I'd be fine giving up a 2nd to be rid of him.

Dunn is not the type of player we need. At all. My grandmother has more offensive game than him. We need guys who can score, still not enough offense on our team. Would be a dud of a pick at 11, similar to Dalen 2 yrs ago.

Are we talking about the same player?

I believe he has some offensive game

I understand this 100%. The problem for me is I don't see guys I'm going to want at 11 who play those positions. I expect Matas to be gone. Obviously Sarr is gone. I no longer want Clingan or Edey after the Giddey trade. The only one who might be there is Salaun.

Then its all wings and guards. And Shannon is big, strong and athletic enough to play "wing" some and not just shooting guard in the NBA. So he's right in the mix like the rest of them as far as I'm concerned.

I haven't followed the prospects as much as i've wanted to (or really at all unfortunately) but, are there some solid bigs further back in the draft? If there are, i'd hope akme would be open to moving down in the draft, maybe turning our pick into multiple picks if possible.

I know best player available is typically the best route to go, but i just really want us to get a big if there are any worth getting. I'm sick of having only bigs who are past their prime.

I hope Rob Dilly can wind up a Bull just for the hoops of it, would at least make for an interesting watch.

Would love to see the Spurs double down on size and defense and take Clingan.

Well this is kind of draft where you can possibly recoup a draft asset for Terry. It's so weak that some team might prefer Terry.

There are bigs in the back part of the draft who people like for varying reasons. Misi is the one who jumps out the most. Some people like Ware from Indiana. Filipkowski from Duke. Daron Holmes II out of Dayton.

I'd rather just stay at 11. I like guys there, but they aren't bigs.

12-51 career from 3
53% from FT last year
Did not exceed 10 pts in any of his final 13 games
Notice how 80% of his highlights in that vid are against trash competition (NC A&T, Texas Southern, Northeastern, 8 win Louisville).

This guy is unplayable on offense. He would be a decent pick for a championship-ready team looking to add a defender. For a team like us with so many holes, no way. Especially with recent draft capital having been spent on similar guys size/position wise in Phillips and Terry. It makes no sense to me.

Wow. Never thought about that. There would be no airspace in San Antonio for a decade, my god. And the Spurs have so many upcoming picks, and with two picks in this draft and plenty of guards left at 8, that they could afford to take a "luxury" pick on Clingan here. Yikes.

This is my new secret wish. I'm also hoping OKC drafts Edey to be a specialist. Would be nuts.

If we weren't so asset poor, I'd be right there with you. Would open up minutes for Phillips, who actually has promise.

It would be so dominant and imposing! 7-2 and 7-4, both switchable and obviously elite rim protectors. The modern NBA has not seen something like that duo.

I’ll even take it a step further; Clingan at #4, and then try to see if you can package #8 with something/someone to trade for a lead guard, maybe Garland?

League Circles wrote:This draft could be as bad as the 2000 draft. Only 1 real core piece in the entire draft plus about another 3 guys that a team would ever even want on a multi year contract. Just terrible.

2000's draft was worse than this for sure,I simply can't believe we're picking a guy worse than Marcus Fizer.

Not sure where this is mentioned but since the account tagged Marc and Chris, I'll assume there's an actual source somewhere for it.

Coupled with notion that I'm afraid that Billy will play him again this season. I'm fine with him as our 15th man, but he is another Hutchinson type guy who just doesn't have NBA offensive talent (but has a much much better attitude).

Last and only draft comment: I'll take Holland. Lots of mocks have him in Chicago.

Still not high on Clingan and Edey , hopefully they won't be around at#11( Edey will likely be).If drafting a big better go for leaner and faster guys like Ware or Filipowski
