23.6 Pts, 7.0 Reb, 7.8, Ast, .573 TS%

And he used to do even better vs Deng.

I think the key to stopping LeBron is not one defender. It has to be what Popovich does based on how the game is going and how LeBron is playing(and how others are playing)...he throws Kawhi, Diaw, Green at different times.

Designating one guy is a bad idea. The one advantage with Jimmy is his versatility of picking up big SF like LeBron/Melo and quicker, smaller guards to help out another poor defender like DJ. Jimmy looks like a perfect 3rd or 4th wing player unless there is a perfect line-up next to him. Maybe it was a tough season last year.

I understand that Jimmy is replaceable but not immediately so. If we get rid of Jimmy that probably means our draft picks are gone too, and we just aren't going to contend if we have a back court of Rose, dunleavy, kirk, snell or DJ augustin trying to guard Lebron and Wade in a playoff series.

hopefully in any trade we get a wing defensive player back, otherwise I don't see how we can replace him short term

The key with both Love and Melo is the number of moving pieces. Realistically, when you have too much movement of a lot of players...that team is probably not going to contend and pretty soon you will find out a few of them are mis-fits. That's why Love is more attractive. He gives that time for GarPax to make a few mistakes and figure out.

With Melo, too many things have to go well for the Bulls to contend in a year or two if they give up on a lot of players. It is really tough to win without continuity and learning each other for a few years, IMO. Even the Heat are formidable now because of their chemistry between their major players. And, even they don't add/subtract too many important pieces but one/two at a time every year.

I for one will understand if Butler is traded, but some people have the wrong idea about how to build a team or who should start. Everybody in the starting 5 dont have to be offensive players. Just say we got Melo, The best scenerio is to keep Butler or have a wing defender next to him. You dont want Melo having to expand all his energy guarding the best players every night like he would with Mike Dunleavy or most other oneway offensive players. Ifyou have Melo next to a guy that can defend the tougher matchup on the wing then you will have a fresher more effiecient Melo. Im really unbiased toward players and even I have to say many are really underrating Taj Offense. The guy was postin up and scoring over elite big man and sticking the mid range jumper. He improved so much that many teams were throwing double teams and tripple teams every time he got the ball in the post. I rather the Bulls have a Rose- Butler- Melo- Taj-Noah lineup then a Rose Martin Dunleavy-Love-Noah lineup because the former team is more balanced and is still just as good offensively. You can also have offensive spark plug as a 6th man.

But give me a rosé Martin butler love Noah lineup and we are ready to roll.
We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls
