^Yeah LaMelo is legit. Lot of good PG's in this upcoming draft.

Hopefully we are too good to get any of them.

Re: Trade Thread: Armchair GMs welcomed
Given that Dunn is "killing it in workouts," it may be time to think about what wing would we target in a Dunn trade before deadline. I know come down to what team's PG gets injured early, but who are the potential SFs that might be available? What team has an excess of wings?
I'm asking because I'm too lazy to go through every team's roster.

OK, so I'm answering my own question. Memphis could be a good target for Dunn. They have Ja Morant and Tyus Jones as their two PGs. That would make me nervous as a GM. Dunn would add valuable depth. They also have several SFs: Jae Crowder, Josh Jackson, Kyle Anderson, Solomon Hill, Justin Holiday, Andre Iguodala, and D'Anthony Melton.

I am sure the Bulls (And Dunn's agent) have let every team know if they have a PG injury, Dunn's willing and available. That's the best they can do at this point.

Not sold yet on him. Looks to be a better shooter than his bro and he is skilled, but so are a lot of prospects. He might skyrocket this year but a lot can happen before June.

Tyus Jones is far better than Kris Dunn, and he's the Grizzlies back-up.
They also have Melton as a developmental prospect at guard.

I have been struggling to find teams for a Dunn trade, I think the most likely landing spots in need of a backup PG might be Atlanta, Miami and Phil.

Barring an injury on another team, all phones have been called (and hung up). Barring us giving up a 2nd rounder, he's here til the deadline, at least.

Dunn, Hutch, Felicio, $ -Charlotte- MKG, Graham
Charlotte can afford to take on a little salary next year. Get a good look at Dunn as a potential long term backup. Hutchison on a rookie deal to replace MKG.
Bulls shed Felicio's contract. Bring in MKG who can better contribute today than Hutch. Open up a roster spot.

MKG was a little better than Hutch last year, but I would expect Hutch to improve such that he is the better player by the end of this season. Not enough of an upgrade to flush Hutch's upside on a rookie deal for MKG's UFA status next season. I am tempted by dumping Felicio, but I think his deal will be trade-able as part of a package next offseason. And no teams want Dunn as their backup. IMO, he's a vet min 3rd stringer next season somewhere.

Charlotte wouldn't do that. Graham is the best piece in that deal.

Oh boy Rozier and Dunn in a back court. A terrible idea that I would love to see. Please Jordan do Chicago this one last favor.

Again, short of injury elsewhere, Dunn has zero trade value until the deadline when a bad team might just take a flyer out of desperation.

Re: Trade Thread: Armchair GMs welcomed
Detroit reported looking for a consolidation trade to open up a roster spot for Christian Wood (and to keep Joe Johnson, as well).
Khyri Thomas and Thon Maker for Dunn works. Now, that would mean another guaranteed contract on the Bulls would have to go (likely Shaq Harrison since he is non-guaranteed - or he'd be converted to a 2-way deal?).
I don't think Detroit value's Maker much (and we wouldn't, either) and Thomas is a low end prospect, but puts an end to the Dunn saga.

Thought of another trade: Dunn + Felicio + Valentine for Tim Hardaway Jr. (2 year on contract, like Felicio, but at 20M per). Bulls get a wing who, while massively overpaid, can contribute. Dallas gets cap relief.

As a Michigan fan, I want Hardaway to be great, but he has become a bad chucker, and IMO, worse than Valentine. Also, he's much more of a 2 than a 3.

Re: Trade Thread: Armchair GMs welcomed
Denver has good depth at their wing positions, wonder if Barton or Hernangomez could be traded for?
Barton is making $12.7m this season and has a player option for the 21'-22' season at $14.6m.
Hernangomez is probably the player I'm most interested in. Can play the 3 or 4. Floor spacer, solid athlete, good BBIQ. Price tag $3.3m. QO after the season is $4.6m. With MPJ healthy I'll assume he will be taking his minutes. I'd offer Denver Valentine+protected 2nd and see if they would say yes.

Only time I was interested in THjr was before/during the 2013 draft.
I have zero interest in this team paying 3 wings $20M+

That Denver roster may be the deepest in the league. They really have no need for Valentine - maybe Dunn, but likely would take 2 (unprotected) 2nd's.
