No way Melo isn't a Bull after all this

I don't see what he has to lose if he signs a 2 year deal with the Bulls, if it doesn't workout he will be a free agent in 2016, maybe the Knicks will be in a better position to win now in 2016. So if we get him I see a 2 year deal

The Bulls as an organization get an A+++ for today. They really hit it out of the park. They seemed like were prepared for this, for a while. No way, they're pulling this together in less than a day. Which makes all the rumors of "backchannel" talks legitimate. The ball is now in Melo's court.

Also, the Bulls just set the standard for making a pitch. Dallas, Houston, LA and NY will have a tough time getting even close to this. The Bulls getting a shot at Melo first really benefitted them.
