Melo #13: Believe in Joakim Noah & Crew

If Melo doesn't come to Chicago...I'll be heartbroken but it isn't the end of the world. The Bulls still have a pretty damn good roster. They'll do whatever it takes to put a championship contending team.

For the record, I whole-heartedly believe Melo is coming here.

If Melo doesn't come here, he better get use to going up against a stacked Heat team, stacked Bulls team, a good pacers team, solid Hawks, Wizards and Hornets teams.

He been ignorant on that tweet & base on Marc Stein's tweet regarding Bulls visiting Pau and Marc was speculating his part regarding Melo.

I'm calm and not overreacting. There was discussion in one of these threads yesterday that it would be clear today how the bulls felt about getting Melo and this gasol news should make it pretty clear.

It's July, what else should our front office be doing besides visiting free agents, twiddling their thumbs in an office?

I'm a little nervous the Bulls aren't even interested in Kevin Love.

They already made an offer for Love before FA started.

On top of that, there was a report that Wolves will likely wait till after the big FA sign to look into trading Love or may even wait till the trading deadline.

These are the second set of tweets I have seen that say this. Were we clear enough about money options? Did we lay out other possibilities for Melo that get him more money (likely those that involve a Boozer trade)?

I actually think that encouraging. If there is truth in that it reads like a negotiation. Why bother saying we need to up our offer if he is not enticed with the possibility of playing here? If the money was low and the opportunity not so great he would just scratch us off the list and move on.

Is it just me or does the Gasol-means-no-Melo connection make no sense?

How is a washed-up PF our backup plan when in theory, without Melo, we would have Mirotic, Taj, Noah in the frontcourt...?

If we are in on Gasol, to me, it means one of two things:

1.) Taj is gone to make room for Melo.

2.) Taj and/or Mirotic are on the move for Kevin Love.

I truly don't see where Stein and KC are coming from..
