Yeah Boozer is most definitely lying. I've had two boxer's fractures on the same hand, both achieved from "boxing" against the skulls of strangers in my younger, alcohol filled days.

He probably divorced her because she doesn't answer the door like she suppose to

his divorice has been going on for a while - but i was wondering myself if perhaps some crazy demand came from her on Saturday, like "fine i'll sign the papers but i get the house" (which i think he just sold according to this article. http://www.deseretnews.com/article/7000 ... llion.html.

i think FL is a equal distribution state which means even if he bought it with his money - she can claim it as a mutual asset. i'm not a divorice lawyer but giving an ex wife a few million that she didn't earn would make me hit a wall too.

or maybe he found out she was hooking up with a buddy of his and that incited him to hit something.
it happens all the time and we know crimes of passion are quite violent. almost all of us can recall a situation we hit an inanimate object out of anger.

we also got no 'reinactment' of the bag incident and the players aren't clowning about it either.

i also think the team is hiding that Rose rumor about the ex he may have knocked up.

surely they don't want these to be the focus of the team in the preseason. i can see GarPax workigjn up this story about the bag. we already know they cover stuff up.

and LOL at the 'i fell down the stairs pic'
it's sad how many women stick with guys that abuse them for fear of being alone or stalked. we need better laws to protect them from violent ex husbands.

Obviously stupid, and selfish. Ever know anyone getting a divorce? Punching a wall, which for these purposes I'll assume he did, ranks near the top of the list of "least stupid" things people do when their marital relationships fail.

hahah I agree. I'm utterly AMAZED that I haven't punched a wall in many years. I get close every few months when I get really really angry.

if divorce proceedings were initiated several weeks ago then they weren't in the house together presumably. so what would make him so angry that he punches a wall? and how does he come up with the gym bag excuse?

good ole conspiracy theories
God help Ukraine
God help those fleeing misery to come here
God help the Middle East
God help the climate
God help US health care

Maybe he'll feel guilty and play extra-hard when he comes back if he really punched something to break his hand. Hey, maybe his wife put the bag there, and inside it is his horse's head. Conspiracy theories, gotta love 'em.

getting a divorce does not make punching walls/things acceptable. that is just childish behavior. not to mention, he is a professional sports player. stupidest move he could take is doing something that would injure himself.

I would agree with that but for the fact that everyone I've ever known who got divorced wishes like Christ that irrationally punching a wall was the worst thing they did.

Anyway, I'm not even conceding he punched a wall. Just noting that if that is what happened, and that is the reason why it happened, its an extraordinarily common human response to a devastating emotional experience. Accordiong to the Holmes and Rahe stress scale, the only thing more stressful than divorce is the death of a spouse. It ranks above all other deaths (including close family members and best friends), losing your job, etc.

To conclude: I don't care how it happened. I'm just talking about it because I'm bored.

I punched the dashboard of my truck once. Those things are made to give, except for the display on the radio, which shattered. Fortunately those things must be engineered in such a way that it didn't hurt my hand. But I punished myself by not getting the radio display fixed until my next car. (harsh, I know)

I'm not the kind of person who punches things when I'm angry...but...I've been divorced...and I could easily see getting angry enough to go in punch flinging rage. Especially if we are talking about $10's of millions of dollars.

Last I checked, his wife had not grabbed one rebound on the hardwood...

Well, at least this won't be hanging over him during the season. One less worry I suppose.

My father died when I was 30
I got divorced when I was 31

To put this into context, I was an only child, rasied by a single parent....my father.

While losing my father hurt a bit more....going through that divorce was almost as painful. It is an awful experience.

If Boozer punched a wall because he was angry over the divorce....I can 100% understand. I can even understand his cover story....as he might have been embarrased about the situation.

At this point, I'm FAR mor worried about Boozer's mental state instead of his broken hand. That is a big distraction. Maybe basketball will help.

Maybe..maybe not...

Boozer just signed a $75M contract. How much of that will go to his ex wife....who has yet to score 1 single bucket in the post....

Now I'm not saying Boozer should have did it....but I understand....
