What's their cap space?

You know our last trade is still the Brad Miller/Salmons 1.

So aggravating..

I think it was around $11.6 million something prior to T.Rob trade.

Probably nothing more than a half hearted phone call to see if we could steal him for nothing.

February 22, 2011 Traded F James Johnson to Toronto for the 2011 first-round draft pick Toronto acquired from Miami.

I think he meant the last player-for-player trade. Though it's still not correct. I think the last player-for-player trade was at the 2010 deadline, either Salmons to Milwaukee or Tyrus to Charlotte. And those were salary dumps.

TPE? Well I believe that was a sign & trade & we got no assets seeing as we may not use the TPE..

If the Rockets can pair Dwight Howard with Josh Smith this could be a one-horse race.

LoL @ Bulls interest in Monta.

I'd live to see the day.

Does the FO get aroused by seeing their name in every player headline?

"Bulls front-runners for Mayo's services!"
"Bulls one of 3 teams interested in Aldridge!"
etc.

It's all phony. Here will be the highlights of the next 3 weeks:

- John Lucas III signs vet. min. contract
- Nazr signs vet. min.
- Snell signs rookie contract

Korver just finished year 2 of a 3 year deal. It wasn't a sign and trade. We traded him so we didn't have to pay the buyout and got a tpe that was an asset we didn't use.

I dislike the cynicism. I choose to keep hope alive that they'll actually do something. :)

And now we're a team drowning potentially in the moves the rest of the Eastern conf. are making.

How are we drowning? We already have 7 rotation players under contract. Sure I would love a big splash but we are not drowning. Realistically, we are looking at signing 1 or maybe 2 more guys who will actually play regular minutes. And I would say the floor for this team is the 4 seed. And thats assuming Indiana and Brooklyn finish above us. Which I think we can beat out at least 1 of them.

Truth is, how well the FO did last time is not enough anymore. The league is changing & the superstar migration is in affect more so than before.

Not to mention the draft seems like it will begin churning out better players(but of course I by know means could know so it's just opinion).

But we got to stop looking at seeding and look at Playoff rounds. We need a team that can be versatile & adapt to different kinds of teams as the Playoofs progress, but ultimately a team that beats Miami.

I think Golden State might want LMA for themselves.
