It won't let me respond to your PM. Says you haven't enabled private message receipts or something like that.

So amnestying Boozer really wouldn't do anything in terms of freeing up cap space huh?

I got:
Rose/Vet min
Jimmy/Snell
Melo(17.5m)/Vet min
Mirotic/Vet min
Jo/Greg Smith

Pretty thin...

EDIT:
This looks a little better:

Rose/DJA (via Room MLE)
Jimmy/Vet Min
Melo (17.3m)/Vet Min
Taj/G. Smith
Jo/Nazr (via Vet Min)

If only someone would write a Mark Deeks-ish article on these Melo possibilities concerning the Bulls, Rockets and Knicks. That would be awesome.

Link not working for me. Tried on three different browsers.

Is it down right now?

Not coming up for me today either, and I tried several times yesterday with no luck.

Awesome work. Heads up though. You may want to provide a different url shortening link or host it in an alternate location. It's flagged as 'suspicious' by our corporate internet filter. I think that's just a catch all category that a lot of the URL shorteners get thrown in.

I'm sure it's not the case everywhere, but I know a lot of big companies / institutions subscribe to the same URL classification services for Internet access filtering.

Yeah, I'm in that boat, too. No twitter, facebook, or even web based (non-work) email services due to security settings.

Question for anyone who has used the calculator: how much do the Bulls have if the picks are moved/stashed, all non-guaranteeds are cut (except maybe Smith?), exemptions renounced, and Dunleavy is moved for future considerations (future pick, etc.)? Would about Dunleavy and Snell?

With Mirotic not coming over, Boozer amnestied, all the exceptions renounced, and the spare parts stripped down (including Smith, I don't see what the appeal is here) we get to offer up to $17,743,696 to a free agent. So if Anthony is willing to sign a deal at discount, which I don't think he cares for, Rose - Butler - Anthony - Gibson - Noah lineup is possible for this year.

You also get the room MLE, which I would go bonkers if used on Hinrich. The rest has got to be veteran minimums.

I think Kirk will take the vet minimum. Plus, if we land Melo, I don't see how he wouldn't want to come back at the vet minimum. Use the room MLE on a backup big man, Chris Kaman perhaps?

Where did you find the salary info for Mike James, Ronnie brewer and Lou Admundson? I've been looking lately, but couldn't find it.

I believe he said he used the vet minimum for their service.

Thibs would start hatin though. As our sole big man backup we need someone that can dress up for more than 50 games a year. Also someone who is capable of lifting his arms on defense. Kaman is super useless as a player and it was no surprise that all he could land was a 1-year $3M contract last summer.
