For the right price, Why not? But that price is really high right now, after the past few games he's played.

No way he is traded in season. Not with Wade here. They don't want to piss him off.

But it only takes 1 rumor to start a snowball of intense trade rumors. Distraction all season long. Been there, done that.

It never ceases to entertain me how many people think that you decide to trade a player before you know what he's worth. I mean, if the Bulls can get a solid player and something like a #1 overall pick, maybe it makes sense. If it's Kris **** Dunn, maybe it doesn't.

They traded Derrick Rose forced them to sign big/old names in free agency for PR reasons. What's going to happen if they trade Butler? Wait for a whole rebuild? How would Reinsdorf be ok with that?!

I hope really really soon. We need a change in the FO.

Are there any rumours around the league about Bulls searching for new FO?

It's not a matter of a few games.

You lose the trade 90% of the time when you ship out a top 15 player, and that's why almost no one does it unless the situation is unbearable. People think that picks and promising youngsters is a fair price for a star, but more often than not it is not. Stars are BY FAR the most valuable 'asset' ( ) in the league. It's tangible greatness as opposed to pie in the sky.

I think the real story is then not wanting to build around Jimmy?

Why not? Can't win with Jimmy?

Doesnt Boston have 2 high Draft Picks?...2 picks in top 5, Bulls tank, 3rd pick in top 10...Kings pick...Bulls could have 4 of the top 15picks in a loaded draft. Quick facelift with young athletic players.

Lonzo Ball
Markelle Faultz
Josh Jackson
Jason Tatum
DAaron Fox
Malik Monk
Harry Giles

Ohhh ya.....Ill take 3 or 4 or these guys

Sounds like a pointless rumor. I mean, everybody right now is "available for the right price" besides for Lebron and probably Durant.

But name me one other player who is untouchable? It's not that kind of a league right now.

That said, Pax is the type of guy that gets excited about acquiring Sweetney, Piatkowski, Othella Harrington... When he gets a Tim Thomas or JR Smith, he immediately buys them out...

A scrappy 1st round (and done) team is enough to make him feel he had a good year at the office.

I'd not be surprised one bit if Jimmy went out and we got a pedestrian package in return, with picks as the appeasement... But still a dodo brain Front Office.

I have no idea what anyone would offer that would justify moving Butler.

Boston doesn't have one player I would want in trade. I would want something like 3 1st round picks from them. Boston fans would bitch but if they checked, the odds of getting one player as good as Butler with 3 picks is actually not great.

Philly could get it done. One young guy plus some premium picks.

The stuff I saw rumored last year as offers for Butler were complete crap.

Yeah, I remember that and I also remember when Rose was cleared to play and sat anyway. Good times. Bucher was right on that one and it turned he was right about a lot things Bulls that we the fans just didn't want to hear at the time. Now we all assumed his "source" was Camp Rose and Reggie.... but, who knows?

Eh, Reggie Rose fed Bucherv info. Not really sure what he's gotten right since?

I would find this more believable if it was Stein or Woj.

We better fleece the other team in a potential trade.

There's nothing good out there.

Giannis is untouchable.

Agree with your larger point- that if they were wowed by a deal- they would have to think about it- but it would have to be really, really compelling.

Guys like Giannis and AD are more untouchable than a lebron or durant really (based on age). Giannis is the most untouchable player in the NBA IMO.

What's crazy is Bucher saying Gar wanted to shop him earlier but the Bulls good start kept Jimmy off the market.

No way they bring in Wade to ship out Jimmy.

Jimmy value will be highest at draft. If you ship him out it's then and has to be for a top 3 pick, future 1sts and another young stud.

Bradley Brown BKN Pick and Mem Pick

MIN pick and Wiggins/LaVine.
