I like this pick, opens up the possibility of getting a good trade for Robin to a playoff team, as much as I like him as a person and a player.

Not a sexy pick, but Carter is definitely solid, has a pretty complete game, can post up, stretch the floor, is pretty agile. The Horford comparisons were what I saw as well. Let's just hope for the best.

Wendell Carter is my guy now. I think he'll be better than many anticipate.

For a tank year, yeah, sure I'd have preferred Doncic, but this was the 7th pick, and WCJ is the guy to take there.

Underwhelming, but understandable.

I don't get all the uproar about all the deals they didn't make. We don't know that the teams ahead of them weren't asking too much. 22 and Portis are not enough to move up and I don't advocate giving up a low protection pick considering we will suck again next year.
