The offense has issues yes. But the defense that we give up on 3s is downright pathetic. Teams are just encouraged to keep shooting them. Its no accident that teams are killing us with the 3.

And the fact that we barely shoot or hit them, its a 20 pt coasting victory most of the time.

Well you can argue either cut him or play him. But sitting him serves no purpose.

I would argue play him. His $20m salary is irrelevant. If he is to be brought back it's on a renegotiated deal. He's 23, he could theoretically be a piece for the future. Playing him backup minutes at least he's highly unlikely to make much of a dint in the W/L, especially with how much we're losing games by, but marginal difference in W/L won't matter much because of the odd flattening. As for trade value, it's already at 0, so mute point.

It seems like Jabari's situation here is truly beyond repair so cutting him makes more sense, but playing him also makes more sense than keeping him hostage.
