Coby made some big time plays when we needed them too. Kid is legit. As bad as some of Lavine's decisions were at the end of the 1st half, he made a couple of big 3's at the end there (even if one of them was an ill advised shot). Still don't trust him with the ball in his hands late.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

Not a very encouraging win. Pretty much a repeat of the last 3 games, build a decent sized lead only to lose it a few minutes later. Only difference is the Pistons didn't have enough shotmaking at the end (thank you to Tony Snell for being Tony Snell and missing that wide open 3 late) and some home cooking with the refs missing that 8 second violation on Zach being careless.

Seems like Lauri could miss some time too after hurting his back/hip or whatever. Good games from Porter, Thad, Wendell, Arci(although he passed up too many open looks). Boylen finally seemed to go away from Kornet later in this one maybe he will finally give Gafford a chance in Indiana.

They're still doubling way too much, everytime Kornett tried to double Rose....face palm

Depleted or not, we dropped games to the Hornets, knicks and cavs. At this point any win is a good win

It was scary until the last 2 mins when the Bulls started making the simple plays to close it out. Good defensive communication down the stretch too.
johnnyvann840 wrote:Just scary that everything seemed to go right for the Bulls and they still almost gave that game away. No way should it have even been close. Otto with a strong game. They got all the calls and some home cooking. Should have been a 15-20 pt win. But, as has been said we'll take any win right now. A win is a win is a win.

Every Boylen interview is painful to listen to. He screams used car salesmen. Just has a real unlikeable personality to me.

Yeah can't run the offense. Problem is well ill don't have a starting PG. Sato is not good at aoll. Gotta hope White grows up soon.

he's better than Zach

Zach might be a moron, but no way is Sato better.

Distributing in the fourth, indeed yes. Every time Zach has the ball in the fourth I expect a TO

Some things I noticed are the Bulls are not running that dumb double the pick n roll ball handler no matter what. More man to man and switching.

-Otto is our x factor, if he is on then teams cant focus on Lavine and Lauri and we can spread teams out.

-Boylen started to stagger Lavine and Lauri more, which lead to both playing better.

_Due to the staggering we didnt play those horrible bench 3 guard lineups that bleed points.

-Carter keeps improving. If he can get a consistent face up jump shot and open 17-18 ft shot then he can easily average 20pts

yea enough to beat a bad pistons team at home. kinda is what it is but you look for any green shoots at this point. good summary thanks.

He is very safe with the ball, but he doesn't do anything with it including get us a good shot.

The East is so bad outside the top 5 teams, seeds 6-8 could all possible be 500 or less. Wouldn’t be surprised if 36-38 wins gets you the 8 seed. Need to beat the Knicks cavs and hornets of the world going forward though

Seriously, man. I think he is a good guy, but it seems like every answer is forced. Nothing natural. Some of his responses are really awful. He literally just said he doesn't talk to any player about their offense.

It's one thing not being comfortable in front of the cameras, but it's another thing to sound unqualified for the job.

I want to see Gafford and Hutchison next game. Kornet and Dunn can sit.

Yeah man, it feels like he just sits in his office and eats crackers all day. The team is coaching themselves

It's just now occurring to me 30 mins after the game but what's making me feel good about this win is I've felt so far this season the team was waiting for Zach amd Lauri to figure things out. Tonight they finally stopped waiting and just got after it.
