Yup. Me, too.
It's actually liberating to have this mind set. We don't grow old. Because of disappointment. I had to go through a lot of heavy disappointments and trauma to learn to let go and don't have expectations for my life and anyone else.
My day to day quality of life improved.
I realized I gave up on plans, goals, results, and expectations since late 1990s. I just didn't realize I was doing this all along until Summer 2019. I suppose that's why I still get mistaken for 24 years young even though I'm in my late 30s. I'm not joking. My friends do not get mistaken for early 20s. Part of the reason is because they always set goals and expectations and all that BS and never reach them. Disappointments galore. They grew old fast.
However, I'm still human. I still mess up on this. Definitely helped me as a Chicago Bulls fan though.
I have us locked in at pick 7 through 9.
