You cannot rebuild with you hurting your own pick which is why Lavine is number 1 elimination target.
Lauri I would have kept long term in that 4/80 deal but he didnt resign he is also a priority trade target.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

Ok, last Myles Turner trade I make, I swear!

Bulls receive:

Myles Turner (Ind)
TJ McConnell (Ind)
Darius Garland (Cle)

Cavaliers receive:

Caris LaVert (Ind)
Coby White (Chi)

Pacers receive:

Wendell Carter Jr. (Chi)
Otto Porter (Chi)
Larry Nance Jr./Taurean Prince (Cle)

Throw picks in wherever needed to even it out.
Here to argue about nonsensical things and suck away your joy. :kissmybutt:

I'd start by moving Zach to GSW for Wiggins, the minnesota pick & a 2nd round pick. We can deal with Wiggins contract for the next two seasons. We wouldn't have any other major contracts on the books. Gives you a healthy 15 ppg & wing D. The Minne pick is top three protected but will likely be 4-8 (if their record holds up). Would give us the chance at two high lotto picks in a strong 2021 draft.

Showcase Coby White & Wendell Carter Jr. for the rest of the season and move them at the draft for another young asset or a pick/s

Rebuild around Patrick Williams & future assets.

Get the 2nd guy in the 2021 draft

The 3rd in the 2022 draft

Use the assets we currently have to build a strong future under AK, Eversley & Billy D.

PG 2021 Minne pick
SG Wiggins / Valentine
SF Patrick Williams / Valentine
PF 2021 Bulls pick
C 2022 Bulls pick / Gafford / Simonovic

Just horrible! You dont go into another rebuild now.. We made big step forward this year!

I don’t think this is close for the Pacers.

I still can't believe GarPax didn't get involved at all in the Brogdon free agency...

If ORL is going in tank mode, what about -

Otto/Carter/Felicio for Vuc/Fournier

Gets Vuc off their books, gives them Carter as another young C to try vs. Bamba. Otto may be a good fit at SF for them, with his outside shooting.

Fournier is a good playmaking wing who might allow us to have enough distributed ball handling to keep Coby at PG, and Vuc is a very good C on a decent deal for 2 more seasons after this one.

He was my #1 target.

Had the Bucks keeps him they would t have needed to trade all this picks for Holiday.

How much younger are the assets replacing Carter and White? I mean falling in love with players who you've seen in one year of college ball as freshmen over those with 2 and 3 years on your roster is not a plan it's just banking on wishes and dreams and you ain't getting a pony for Christmas.

Yeah, I don't think we blow things up until we get the right pieces in place. We meet a vet Pg and a good center to see what's what.

I still push trading for Drummond (bird rights) and signing/trading for a vet Pg. Even if it's just a legit 3&D PG. There is still too much not explored with the current team not being complete.

My first choice is to come away this season with Drummond and Rubio. Neither should cost too much in terms of assets. I think Rubio/Zach/Pwill/Lauri/Drummond, with Coby/Temple/Thad off the bench could be very good.

Bulls Receive:
Siakam
Lowry
+ salary filler

Raptors receive:
Porter
Markkanen
WCJ
Sato
Felicio
plus some kind of protected pick as well

Raptors get younger with a core of VanVleet/Powell/Anunoby/Markkanen/Carter. Probably not enough for the raptors to part with Siakam, they would have to really like Lauri.

Bulls get out of worrying about paying Lauri and buy low on Siakam where he can be more of a true 2nd option to Zach. We get a stopgap vet PG and roll with Lowry/LaVine/Williams/Siakam with Coby off the bench and then sign/draft a center next year.

I am interested in seeing what someone like Drummond would do for us in the paint.

I like the idea of Rubio, but his shooting fell off a cliff this season. He's shooting .197% from 3 (albeit on only 1.6 attempts per game). His 2p% is also pretty bad right now too (.400). I don't know if I value his playmaking and defense enough to make up for how much that would hurt the our spacing.

Why are you all so obsessed with giving Zach away for crap? He's a top 10 scorer in the league entering his prime. Selling for Wiggins and a 5-10 pick is awful.

Siakam is an interesting "BIG" trade idea - though I feel we'd ideally want to pair him with Lauri as a front court of the future. Not sure it's possible without dealing Zach. They're a difficult team to find a deal with.

Porter,Carter, Bulls frp 21 for Siakam. Is this enough for Raptors? Tbh i dont think so, even they are down on Pascal from bublle and this season. Thad Young and Carter for Garry Harris and Bol Bol, if we are targeting high upside player.

I'm still jonesing for Grant.

$-wise, Otto/Thad/Hutch/Felicio for Grant/Griffin works. It's a big $ dump for DET to reboot sooner. Also gives them a look at Otto as a potential keeper along with Thad who's a bargain next season. I'd even do Lauri instead of Thad, if that's what it took.

For us, Griffins' deal punts forward a FA max slot a year. Grant has become awesome this season in a bigger role.

would love a Carter/White for Turner.
Good 2 way 3 pt shooting shot blocking center.

Lavine/Lauri/Williams/Turner is a sold start that you can build around

I always liked Turner because of his 3nD skills but we'd lose the rebounding battle with him and Lauri on the front court.

Zach + Carter + filler for Wiseman + Wiggins + MIN Pick. I know it's unrealistic but is it that far apart as a deal?

Hey, I love Zach but I don't really see this team going anywhere.

U can't depend on Lauri.

WCJ & Coby are inconsistent

Zach is wasting another year if the ship doesn't get righted THIS season.

I don't see it.
