Yup. Notice how Otto Porter Jr is going off in preseason again? Can't get fooled again. That dude is a preaseason slayer but as soon as he plays a back to back against guys at full speed he crumbles physically. There's only so much you can learn in the preseason and other than just not looking completely horrible not many takeaways.

I'm very interested in the Lonzo/Ja Morant matchup as well as seeing how/if the Bulls handle the Grizzlie's big men.

He was excellent for us at the start of last season too. Decent D, incredible 3P shooting, I think he was the highest TS% player on the team for a hot second. Then as soon as 1 minor injury happened, which wasn't even enough to DNP him, he just fell apart for the season.

I think he is a talented player but he's Mr Glass, and he has zero work ethic to get himself back into physical shape once something derails him physically. The guy obviously spent a lot of time during covid partying. Kind of the anti-Rose or anti-Taj, who played through everything even more than advisable.

I think Toronto is an easy .500 ballclub as currently constructed. I'm a big fan of both Nick Nurse & Pascal Siakam, so I think they'll get it together to start this season. Also, look for OG & Fred to take more initiative with Kyle gone. Out of those 5 games, we're the only team that has 3 all-star caliber players so, we SHOULD win those games.

Siakam had shoulder surgery in the off-season and might not be available when they play the Bulls.

Assuming PWilliams plays significant minutes, he's the story tonight. The team has looked good this preseason. Want to see that Williams is ready to be a key contributor when the games count.
