Just like the Bucks waxed us, I am expecting the Bulls to do the same. Bulls and Bucks are the top two teams in the East right now.

The last time Ayo appeared in a game and played less than 19 minutes, was December 2nd. :o

I do wonder what the atmosphere at the UC will be like with the 9pm start time.

Nets fans calling us fraud pretenders in the general board and that we will get bounced in the playoffs quick. Considering we are 2-0 against them I hope they are fully healthy so we can blow them out of the building tonight. Expecting a huge game from Lavine and Debo

And Ayo has had 2 of his best games this season against the Nets. And with all the wings on the Nets and Caruso still out, I'd expect Ayo to continue getting his ~20mpg.

Unfortunately, that will be the case until the Bulls make a deep playoff run (or multiple).

We haven't had any impressive wins lately TBH. Beating up Detroit on a b2b without Grant, 4 point win vs Orlando on a b2b, beating up on Atlanta with mostly G-League players, etc.. The decent matchups we've had lately we've lost all of them (CLE, MIA, DAL) soundly.

But Brooklyn is calling the kettle black. Nets are 0-8 vs the top teams and 10-11 overall vs winning teams.

Is anybody else getting a little tired of these games against top teams missing players? I want to see us play (beat) teams at full strength.

Me. I want everyone at full strength even though we aren’t.

I think you'll need to get used to this condition. Between the increase in injuries over the past few years, and Covid, there will be depleted teams all season long, even into the playoffs. We'll be lucky if we are at full strength when the playoffs start. It is what is is. Let's just keep winning.

Agree 100%. When Ayo is on the floor, good things happen. And remember, you can't spell playoffs without Ayo!

My keys to a Bulls win:

1) Shoot 3's at 37%+

2) Keep KD from scoring efficiently

3) Vuc having an efficient scoring game

The Net's obviously have top end-talent, but I do not get the sense that they are "dialed-in" as a unit. Bring em on. 8-)

Hopefully these guys are night owls, because the 4th quarter probably won't start until 11PM - or midnight for the Brooklyn boys.

But it's too bad that the schedule hasn't allowed our games to be played evenly. The first two games we caught the Nets on the second game of a back to back while we're the more rested team. This one obviously is the opposite. But it's good that nobody played a ton of minutes yesterday thanks to the blowout.

You play the schedule you have. Bulls' schedule was brutal to the start the year, arguably the toughest in the league in November, so **** it.

To be fair when we lost the decent matchups we were missing quite a few players including Derozan.

I think the Nets are going to come at the Bulls hard. They've been playing really poorly against inferior teams, and here's an upstart East team that's already beaten the twice and is looking down on them in the standings. We're gonna have to hope for that tenacious defense we saw in the second half last night. Perhaps the starters' lackadaisical play in the first half was them holding back their energy for tonight's clash?

I'm actually happy at such a late start time - I will be able to be home from work for at least the second half, if not much of the first. I sure hope Stacey and Adam are more engaged in the game tonight, as last night their giddy giggle fest reached their nadir as a pairing.

Nice try. We are the team that will lose badly. :D
