The first 5 minutes of the 2H might be the most promising stretch of the season for Buzi. The handle, passing, defense, and being able to create own shot and for others.

Pat with a very nice game, great to see.

Matas had himself a good game also.

Stix got some burn!

Tomorrow's game will be interesting.

This reminded me of the old summer league games, with Pat as the top option and the worst-PGs-imaginable running (or not running?) an offense.

It’s the least interesting, most boring, down-20 basketball imaginable. I couldn’t take too much of this one. Kudos to Pat for scoring more than 20 (slow clap). All that’s on mind is that Giddey’s been the best thing to happen to the Bulls. Having a high-IQ playmaker is an incredible asset. I hope AK invests more in this pass-capable archetype (good that 1-leg Lonzo was resigned… let’s get Egor Denim… hope Tre resigns cheap). Huerter and Collins can make some heady plays, albeit limited. When Pat, Terry and Phillips lead the play, it becomes a slop fest. 20 TOs? Gross.

So proud that the Bulls rested an unwinable game tonight. CLE shot 50% on 50 3's. Happy to see Smith and Williams get some burn tonight. Good to see the guys actually make a game of it at a couple points.

Pat really looked motivated. I'm sure we won't see "that Pat" again for quite some time, but it's nice to be able to kid ourselves into thinking he might someday return.

Matas looked great as both a scorer and playmaker. It really goes to underscore how we need to increase his role next season as job #1.

Smith looked good. Just wanted to give a big FU to Billy for gluing this dude to the bench when he should be getting 25 minutes a night at PC/C.

Happy Carter got to stretch his legs. He's been a real pro about his situation, but hey he got paid.

THT kept doing THT things. That circus shot was crazy.

Phillips made some plays out there too.

Anyone watch the game and see how the 2-way guys went?

PAW looked good today?
BUZ is really going to be great right!

I thought it was a strange move to rest guys when they’re fighting to move up. Sure Cleveland was the heavy favorite but they were without Mitchell and Cavs don’t care much right now.

We don’t know if the bulls would have won this game with their best players, they could have. These young guys have the legs to have played both of these b2b games or could have easily managed minutes differently.

Both of these games were important not just the Miami game.

Also says if he’s one of your top players you will lose by 20.

True, but now we're going to roll Miami by 20 pts. Not just a prediction. We're going to melt their faces. Coby is going for 40. 8-)

Of course not a game taken serious by the Bulls, but again: if THT is cut loose, he can put the ball into the basket

Good to see PWill more active and shooting 3pts shots like FT. Buzelis with another solid game..

Imho it was good decision to rest Giddey and White, we would lose this game anyway I think.

Return to Chicago Bulls
