With a big, star-hungry market behind him and the 'local kid' story there's zero chance a 20 ppg Matas doesn't get the fan votes to be on the real team.
Shouldn't be underestimated just how badly Chicago wants somebody talented to cheer for. Every big league team has been in absolute purgatory since COVID.
