I hope we trade Sefolosha and Noah instead. It'd suck to see Thomas developing into a star while Tmac plays ball...baseball :(

I tend to think that if there were an ounce of truth to this somebody other than Kiss FM would have the story (unless 103.5 has changed since I moved).

but I dont believe it will happen. I dont really want McGrady but i'll take him over wallace

Get rid of Big Ben's big contract is a plus but worth of getting T-Mac in return? A guy who never get pass the first round and also most important a guy who have health issues especially his back injury? Is that worth trading Big Ben for? I don't think it's worth it and wouldn't take my chance to go acquire T-Mac.

Now if they want to deal Yao Ming that's a different story

Ben Wallace is crap, you're not going to get squat for him. I'd take TMac.

That lineup would be nasty though.

Hinrich / McGrady / Deng / Smith / Noah

Duhon / Gordon / Sefolosha / Nocioni / Gray

remember that Arn Tellum is the agent for both wallace & McGrady

This deal only happens if McGrady demands a trade from Houston

Bulls can only afford T-Mac if Wallace goes out in the trade

If Wallace is going out in the trade a hell of a lot of other stuff is going too.

I actually like the way that line up looks. You would see Chapu playing the 3/4 alot too. I like the line up. Now if the Bulls could get something for PJ Brown's contract that would be gravy.

Since no one is reporting an independent source - I think it is safe to assume that this is bogus. It was based on one person calling into that station? Gimme a break

It's pretty much the whole trade AND T-Mac history most concern me is his health. Back injury is a killer if you get a player with a back injury who is still dealing with a back injury will haunt not just the player but to the team who go after T-Mac that needed him.

[

That maybe true about you may not get squat for him, but is it worth it to acquired T-Mac as I mention because of his history. Meaning his playoff first round history but that's not only the biggest concern I have my biggest concern is his back injury. He was and still is dealing with a back injury.

What is T-Mac's contract detail exactly anyways? Length? Isn't it 2 or 3 years left on his contract?

If we get T-mac by only trading Wallace and Tyrus. I can imagine that Paxson would already have plans of trading away either Kirk or Gordon, maybe even both. If that were the case i really wouldn't mind trading some of our assets and packaging our own draft pick to a team who has a high probability of getting an even higher draft pick.

We could potentially have a team of ..

Mayo/Tmac/Deng/Smith/Gray-Noah

Or

Kirk or Gordon/Tmac/Deng/ Beasley/Gray-Noah

Point being, if the "rumour" is true, it would be an absolute steal, even if we only had Tmac for one year.
Why so serious?

Bulls fans are in a state of desperation. Can't blame them though..

Another thing to look at IF this trade was to happen is that if T-Mac was to retire in 2 years his salary would come off the cap also.

The Bulls would have a group of at least Hinrich, Deng, Noah with a lot of money to play with in FA that year. 2010 isn't that the Bron, Bosh, Wade FA season? Unfortunately for the Bulls things don't alway work out for the in FA the way they plan.
